Dogecoin is one of the oldest coins of the cryptocurrency world and its price is still awful. I think it would not be a good choice that own or mine that coin, but of course, the choice is yours.

Now there is a pump by John McAphee, on twitter he wrote: Introduced as a Joke Coin in December 2013, Doge has grown in 4 years into in one of most widely accepted and loved cryptocurrencies in the world. The recent re-interest in DOGE has ignited a well deserved price hike that i believe will continue unabated.

The coin is already greatly overvalued. Does it make sense to invest in it? Yes, but when it becomes cheaper. And when will this happen? And how much to wait?

Dogecoin  periodically pumped. We began the year of the dog, I expect to see good growth. In the long run,  a good investment.

Dogecoin used only for transfer between exchanges because of the low cost of transactions, no growth will ever happen.

Why is the price going up?
Low transaction fees, fairly fast transactions and it's accessible compared to bitcoin where most people can only buy like 0.000001BTC.

Also bitcoin is just ridiculously overvalued right now and it's dragging altcoins up.

But it might stay, who knows.

Hello there, it's my first post  Grin

I missed mining adventure on Bitecoin, and I am wondering...
Do you think investing and/or mining in Dogecoin is a good idea?

Hey bro,
I mined around a million on my 70Kh/s card since I started right from day 2 of it's launch. Current going rate for a million is 0.65BTC
Not bad for a poor GTS 450 !

It has a strong community, no other coin has seen such virality in just first week of it's launch.
The official thread here has "164" pages right now and it's the 10th day.
Every second minute "dogecoin" is being tweeted.

I set up a dogecoin wallet and got a few of them from a faucet for laughs, but I've never considered mining them. I think there's math you can do to see if mining is viable or not. Something to do with kilowatt hours.
