Waste of time thinking about the problem of no return, when people dream of material value that it will go up OP is thinking downward. Theoretically it's not possible until now, if this happens give me some more specific cases. As for the hypothesis from the OP, I think there is a good answer, look again then the BTC swap capital is not even equal to 1 person's money so why do we care about it.

If BTC drops to such a low price (which I doubt it), altcoins will become "worthless". Many of them will die, leaving us with only a few players such as Ethereum and Litecoin. Crypto/Blockchain tech is just getting started, so I wouldn't hope for a major downfall in market prices in the time being. It could take decades, if not centuries, before BTC and altcoins drop all the way down to "rock bottom".

I'd focus on filling my "pockets" with prominent coins at a discount, to sell them at a profit during the next bull market. Don't expect much from altcoins, especially when they aren't as comparable to Bitcoin in terms of decentralization, and censorship-resistance. They're just experimental grounds for Bitcoin which is the real deal. Who knows how long altcoins will last? Just my opinion

As we know so far that altcoin prices always follow wherever Bitcoin prices go. And if bitcoin goes to $10 then chances are that many of the altcoins won't be able to survive that drop. But who cares that even I never saw it could happen (bitcoin dropped to $ 10), even when bitcoin goes down, then those big investors will immediately come in and make the price of bitcoin pump up again.
To be honest, I personally didn't think of anything like this before, because I didn't think bitcoin would touch that price. I never imagined that someone who had an early dislike of bitcoin would laugh at the drop.

The crypto market is completely dependent over the bitcoin. The movement of bitcoin will be followed by the altcoins, so failure of bitcoin will cause altcoins to fail. Some centralised altcoins will be manipulated and kept at a better position. For now there is no need of discussing about such an instance, because it is assured that bitcoin never reaches down to such a value based on theoretical calculations. In realtime we don't know, because it is the only asset that have the ability to bounce from $20k to $26k in a single day.

Of course, I don't want to think about it but if that really happens, I don't expect that all altcoins have value as well. Because as we notice that altcoins and these shitcoins are heavily affected when the market is down. When the price of Bitcoin got huge corrections, everything is about to follow and the market turned red. And that $10 price of Bitcoin is enough to see the majority of the altcoins are already dead.

But for me, it was an unforeseeable scenario of the market. Bitcoin won't drop like that unless it was the end of the crypto world where nobody has an interest in this.

If bitcoin falls to $10, we cannot rule out the case that one of the altcoins will take its place and the other altcoins will become independent. Altcoin will follow the direction of the bitcoin movement. And if BTC drops to $10, there will be a lot of altcoins that can't survive and it's probably a massive purge that could happen in the market. And only the altcoins that can provide benefits will survive in that situation while the others will disappear from the list of coins on the exchange.

But it will bring a huge riot in the market because many people can't bear to see that happen and may choose to sell their bitcoins quickly to save their assets. This time, they wouldn't have thought that bitcoin could bounce back and break even higher. And hopefully, that will never happen in the future.

If Bitcoin drops to $10, it is like $LUNA dropped from $100 to $0.00001 in May 2022.

In bear market, altcoins usually lose more than 90% or 99.9% of their highest prices in previous bull market. If a market has a day when Bitcoin drops to $10, more than 90% of altcoins will die.

Even in better market, in normal bear market, there are thousand of altcoins die each year.
How many cryptocurrencies have failed? is a good insight report from Coingecko but their report does not give anything new. We all know about this fact with altcoins.

certainly majority of altcoins gonna turns zero, bitcoin drops to 10$ is basically a doomsday it's easy to say that the whole market is done for, many that invested are turning bankrupt and it will start crisis i think, but one most important thing is that majority of altcoins are just gonna outright lost their value because many are panicking and massive selling gonna be occurring and at such event, altcoins usually gonna become the first target of massive selling.

In short, this whole experiment will be over if that happens. I mean I'm sure bitcoincan fail and other projects continue on but in the near future I can't see that happening. If people lose faith in bitcoin then I can't see why they wouldn't lose faith in all of crypto. Can other projects thrive, yes they can but bitcoin at $10 would upend any progress crypto has make in the last 10-15 years.
