I also taught my son about crypto currancy, but what I teach the introduction phase of crypto types, my daughter is 10 years old now, I do not teach much about crypto currancy because my child is still in school.
As soon as they are big enough to trade and bring money home 
I guess we must teach kids about bitcoin in the age of 9-12 years old but I guess if they really wanted or they have the interest to learn or know a lot of bitcoin then we must teach them about this. Working with bitcoin is really a big help for them in their future for them to save a lot so they must know bitcoin in their young age for them to know how future works.
I don't think there is a perfect age to teach, I think you need to watch what the child is like. Some are mature around 12/13 and do understand. Some are ready at the age of 16.
You can let them know at a younger age there is more besides fiat money. I do tell my nephew there is more about fiat money, steady and slow (age 15). But then as told he is somewhat childish so the
real trading and speculating would turn out a disaster. Better to teach steady and slow.
So I think you need to look at how far developed a child is before actually teach them invest tricks etc. Even if they know how to handle some fiat money. You can loose a lot fast if you dont know how to act in crypto.

As long as your kid has an interest on it because it's useless if you keep on teaching your kid bitcoin but he has no interest and if he is not interested he won't understand even the basics because he'll be bored and wont listen to you because bitcoin is a complex topic
I divide into 3 levels
1. the basic theory of crypto. When the child age 9-12 years
2. theory and practice global. when the child ages 13-16
3. theory and practice of trading and mining. when the child ages 17-20
but certainly, much better if taught slowly until the child understands the crypto world.

In my opinion we should not teach kids about crypto currency at early age because if they get enter in this field at early age then they can't control their self and can be addicted to make only money and may be that can result into change their mind that nothing in study .When is a good age to teach kids about crypto? If we think that it is necessary for them to teach then surely atleast they have 18+ age , other wise Thier future will not be better for always .Here may be teaching them about the cryptourrency is a better thing in another way if , any better person can discuss about the technology and may be one student can beat the better better technology by making his own technology for new coin or can make any improvement with his own technology .

why should children be tough? They are not able to earn money and may decisions through bitcoin.
Children do not need to be educated in it. person shall be aware only when he/she is responsible for its own decision, can take considerable risk and can afford it.
Actually there is no specific age on when you can teach a child about crypto, as long as he can comprehend the nature of crytpo trading, as long as he knows what he is entering, but as for the age to be legal in trading is i think of course he is legally aged around 18 and up.
There is no harm as early as children know about the crypto world. Just to be known. But if to invest in crypto, must be able to distinguish what is wrong and which one is true or adult.

here in our Community A lot of kids are starting to learn cryptocurrencies now..Like in the age of 12 he already cashed out..It better to Give them knowledge and wisdom than giving them a money..So that They will already know how to earn and the struggles of life
I wouldnt teach kids anything about cryptos. I would them just let know that theres something next to fiat money, which will in near future maybe replace them. I would tell them how it works. And thats it. Teaching them to trade and spekulate wouldn't be that good. I mean the most people here cant handle their cryptolive, so children dont need to get stressed too. Just let them be kids!
There's no specific age but i would recommend 16 years old and above because at that age is the time where they're going to start thinking mature and it would be better if that age is where they're going to start their career in the cryptocurrency industry but as a teenager most of them won't listen or would like to learn about that kind of stuffs because:
1. It's complicated

Age doesn't even really matter for studying crypto. It is the best if you teach them as young as possible. I think it is best to teach them first how to use their money wisely and how they can maximize the money they have. If you have passion, you can teach them as early as possible, Just make sure that he/she won't abandon his/her studies, Because i believe Education is also an investment that will prepare an individual to greener pasture when the right time comes:)
I think you can give them knowledge of crypto when they are studing in school. But Just give them theoretical knowledge. Don't show them practically how you really earning . Because if you show them then they will think that its easy way of earning money and it may create bad impression on them.
Moreover, after completion of their whole education while they are doing their job you can show them practically. But just tell them that it will just help you to earn extra money. Though you know that how strong it is don't allow them to loos their job unless they stand in market. Because now a days children are smart and they are always thinking of simple way of earnings. Its good think but i think for them it should be second priority.
Thus in short while their school studies one can give them just knowledge of it nothing wrong in that. But off course education is most powerful tool in the world.

I think the best time to teach kids about crypto is when they sit in junior high school or about 13-15 years old. because at that age children will be easy to digest about technology and internet because they also have started to be taught in schools about technology and internet. I think a good age would be around 5 -10 years till then they're open minded and post that they become rigid.Todays children are smarter than we were and they grasp things faster. If it's though to them at a early age, it'll be best and they'll start collecting it. By the time they're in their 25ies they'll be self sufficient and spreading bitcoins knowledge left and right.
I have kid, a 12 years old boy and i teach him using smartphone to earn bitcoin
As long these kids can read,write and understand,you can teach them what is all about crypto. In a way that they can easily to understand (layman's term). Also teach them on how to engage with this currency so that in the future they are now ready to invest and become also profitable.
