If I have $100k, I will spend 30k for Bitcoin cash, 30k for IOTA and 40k for Monero. Both of them are big coin with impressive developmentin 2017. So, investing them will make me become richer.
With $100k, i'd invest in something like Maidsafe. That coin is just strong enough for the people to not worry on the price of the coin because they are really serious about the development on the project.

Only thing that i'm sure i would is invest it in more than one alt coin. Yea if you can find the right coin investing in one coin can be very profitable but we have to think worst scenario as well. I would buy some different high potential coins instead. Like waves , iota , ripple , ltc these are all good coins with bright future. I would invest my money in them and ofcouse i would keep atleast half of my money on bitcoin.

I wouldn't invest in any altcoin. Bitcoin is already gaining value faster than all other altcoins put together but if I really wanted to I would go with Qtum, ETH, LTC, Pivx, ADA, IOTA, Powr & Stratis. Waves is looking good too but I don't know if I would invest in it.

I don't agree with bitcoin cash and monero but I would really invest with IOTA. Iota is becoming the main attraction in the crypto market after their partnership with Microsoft.

Today, chances are :
Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dragonchain (DRGN), Nxt (NXT) and Jinn (JINN).
These, to me, are among the most interesting coins to be invested.
from this list, maybe I will choose ethereum, bitcoin cash, nxt, monero. I am expecting to see the ethereum, bitcoin cash rise again and for the nxt, can increase more than yesterday. I don't know much about dragonchain and jinn but if I think I can make a profit and in the future, the price will increase, then maybe I will buy it too. I am sure that every coin has possibility to increase someday and it is only a matter of time that will answer.

There are only around 21 million in circulation, yet the price is still well under $1. This is not likely to remain the case for long.
This is one coin which should easily reach $5-10 within a year, and it would still be undervalued, imo.

With 100k you could do some damage in Cryptopia with small coins (cap < 5 mill). Just find a coin with more o less stable chart and pump it with your money. Would be nice if there are some news or PR bout innovations and deals of this coin

If I were you I wouldn't invest in any altcoins right now. It seems like bitcoin will be reaching $20,000 by end of 2017 and since altcoin price is directly correlated to the inverse of bitcoin price, you will have a bad time. Just probably keep checking the market for signs of a bitcoin correction. You need to be fast and buy into altcoins before the major bitcoin crash.
If i have that kind of huge money i will go for Ethereum and Monero. 65% for Ethereum and 35% for monero.

First I would wait for a huge correction, which should soon happen. After that, about 60% would invest in bitcoin and its forks and in ETH. The rest would invest in altcoins such as EMC2 and its new fork, ripple, ARK and waves
Waves have big announcements incoming, its going to go to $20 minimum by the end of the year!
