I just started trading at 0.1 BTC. from there i started to achieve winning trades and losing trades. I admit that any trader will have a losing trade once a while. and that is what i am learning now. to achieve higher percentage of winning trade compare to losing trades.
I am not sure how you end up in a loss if you are trading with good coins, never invest in inflated coins who are meant to be pump and dump coins and if you are good with that then you can always end up in a profit, i  usually do not end up in a loosing trade, if the price goes down i would hold for the long term rather than selling my coins at a loss.

when starting a trade without experience also feels difficult, especially with a thin amount of capital below 0.01 at least we are good to start trading above 0.1 to see high trading costs.
Good luck

I started trading with 0.15 BTC at $ 2600. After 2 months of market entry, the amount has dropped to only 0.04 BTC, the lack of knowledge of the market made me pay the price. Then I began to re-examine the basics of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and technical analysis of candlestick charts. As time passed, I gained more experience and success.

started with as little as 40 euros. Poor student with barely any side-income. Made a lot, lost a lot, added more FIAT into it.

It isn't always about where you start, nobody says you can only invest once - for example you can take 10% of your paycheck and invest that monthly. Also, if you're just starting trading, beginning low is better (especially in a sideways/bear market that we have now).

It's all just a learning process

I need more related answers
and thank you for those who share information related to the topic.

I deleted some old school posts who just want to say I do like this and that without even getting a supplementation of explanation.

So, is portfolio/blockfolio a part of trading? Does it counts numbers of calculation to supervise the coin which I am going to trade?

I have been thinking whether 0.005 btc is good enough to start but it is just for practice trading right, no matter, if you lose the profit at least you will gain experience.  I start my trading in coinut and deposit 0.005 btc when it was around 12k USD. I stop my trading when the fluctuation causes traders to sell high.

Eventually, I am trying to read chart and still losing. I know I need to learn more, and I have tried to trade with altcoins with low price but not yet satisfied.

My question is what is the exact  amount to start  trading and how much profit will you earn. Give me example and I will evaluate.

Please answer my question professionally, I will delete answer with no connection to the topic.

Thank you. GODBLESS.

Based on my experienced, I started with .035 BTC early last year. It was small amount back then although I was able to get play that amount and somewhat made a good profit and made it like x2 at that time (which is I'm very happy), I made some decisions along the way causing me to lose everything. But it was a good learning experience, learn my mistakes the expensive way though.  Cheesy

I guess this time, I'm thinking around .015 BTC - .025 BTC will be fairly good amount and see how it goes for you. That amount is just enough to get yourself started in trading and I hope that you do succeed mate. Goodluck on your new endeavor.

I started with a hard 2% of my roll. Which was about 0.1 during that time. I'm never looking to the corresponding USD values, as I'm trading BTC <> alts only.

Few times I made a mistake to close 15%-25% on a single deal and every time I regretted, despite the fact that most of those trades ended with positive results. Because this was breaking my bankroll management and is a crucial skill to stay in the business.

I never start with any amount, I started with an imaginary figure that I could afford to lose, I think it was 120 USD. I did paper trading by using an arbitrage with 3 exchanges, I lost the same day when I subtracted the fees of depositing and withdrawing on both exchanges. As time went by, I think about a month, I put in the real figure of 120 USD and made 230 in a week, but it was based on luck and price appreciation of Ether. I doubt If I could it again or if I can even call that trading.

Starting with any amount that you can afford is acceptable, but the profits can never really be guaranteed..
Trading cheaper altcoins is more profitable than trading btc.lets say you gonna start with a $100 capital.

Btc current price $9k-btc needs to be $18k for you to make you profits 100%
$1 altcoin- $2 is more easier to reach to get 100% compare with btc.

Istarted trading with 0.5 btc wayback 2015..by that time im more focused on earning dollars rather than btc..lesson that i learned from that is when you do cryptocurrency trading you should be more focus building the quantity of your crypto rather than its dollar value.

Goodluck with you trading and wish you all the best.

If you are just starting to learn how to trade, you can start playing with just a small amount which you can afford to lose. You can keep on asking about other's opinions or technique to learn from them. Watching video tutorials will also help you to learn more on trading. As I said, start with a small amount and just make a simulation if ever you invested a high amount of money in your point of entry and exit, that way you can have an idea of how a market moves depending on the current market situation and the graph.

I started trading with $ 300 capital and I tried to take a 10% profit from some of the coins I traded.
although the benefits are few but it is quite fun for me.
or when arbitrage between markets may profit you will get more.

There is none. As long as you want to push then go through it and test it on actual to see the output. You can't just follow people starting capital because we have different approaches on the way so you really need to test whatever strategy and plan you have to see what will be the result.

Take note also what is your target when selling coins, for USD purpose or for btc value? If for USD value then a simple HODL will do but if you want to target BTC quantities then disregard USD value at the moment since the goal is to increase bitcoin.

Like you said, you are not satisfied by buying low price altcoins, so what to do now to increase that satisfaction? Then increase the capital so you can diversify it. For how much? Then do it step by step like jumping to BTC0.01 then so on. You just need to build experience because hearing other's people way on how they made a successful trade will just lead you into following their way without understanding some aspects on the way. There is no way we can tell you if you will succeed or not since it's all in your hands how to make it successful.

Goodluck mate.

I started trading with $100 and made it to $500 without any experience, and I Putin the complete amount in trading and then I lost completely. Realised that, I should learn the basics, and follow some experts.
I followed many experts and understood the basics of trading and then started my own research on each coin which I invest in. I hold a decent number of Altcoins now,  and they are pretty good in the market now.

Do you have some clear explanation about this?  How many days did you roll that 100$ that became 500$. And what was the price of the specific coin you trade at that time? Did you just trade it and HODL till the price increase? Or did you trade it with other coins  and divide it into parts.? For example you earn another 100$ from your starting 100 dollars? Then you divide it into three? Like 70$ btc to ETH? 70$ btc to litecoin? 60$ btc to usdt? 200$ in equal Or further from that? How to do it sir?

You will not feel the profit for that amount especially if you are a day trader and also if you are a hodler, you will just waste precious time on waiting for hard pump then earn small profit. 0.05BTC above is my suggested starting capital for trading so that you can use transaction fee efficiently and also you will have a good profit for every small percentage growth of your coin.
