I am using Avast anti virus because it is cheaper than anybody else but useful, quality and easy to use. The virus can detect immediately by this kind of anti virus. I have also product key of this anti virus so that the expiration date of my anti virus is much longer than anybody else. Automatically updated this anti virus makes my computer comfortable.

None. My operating system is Ubuntu.

Don't be intimidated by it because it's Linux. The user interface is apple-like. If you'd rather have a user interface similar to Windows 7, try Linux Mint.

As for program compatibility, most versions of Linux come with LibreOffice which is fully compatible with MS Office. You can open, edit, and save documents in .docx, .xlsx, etc. formats. Skype has a Linux version, as does Steam. With WINE, you can run almost any Windows program in Linux.

Did I mention that it's free? You can even try it on your computer without installing it by downloading it from the site (ubuntu.com, or linuxmint.com) and burning it to either a DVD or USB flash drive. It runs completely in memory and doesn't make any changes to your hard disk. If you want to install it, you can choose to keep Windows and install linux with it, so you choose which one you want when you restart the computer.

I'm used to the Drweb. I take more than five years. Antivirus is not the most reliable, sometimes misses viruses. But probably I love spiders and green. Grin

Microsoft Security Essential. It's free and I don't do anything too risky.
By rating this antivirus is very weak. I do not understand how you can rely on him and hope for a good defense of its equipment.

Avast is my anti virus using because it is a cheap anti virus and yet it is very effective. It can detect malwares instantly. And you can also update it time by time. You can scan and clean your computer time by time.

Windows Defender/ Microsoft Security Essentials.

They are decent for free. I'm always very careful that my system is updated, and I don't click any suspicious links/ files.

Unfortunately, a lot of the free Antivirus have become so intrusive. They look at your web traffic/ mail, and some go as far as to man-in-the-middle your https connections. Of course they do it in the name of "security". But I've stopped using Avast because of this reason.

Some of the paid services like ESET or Kaspersky are decent. Every time I have to deal with changing a setting in Symantech I get annoyed because it takes over control of the Windows firewall and things like that.
