After the big bitcoin crash on 2018 I started to leave crypto😂🥰 until 2021 when I came back theres a defi thing and pancakeswap thing. Thanks to cryptoblades nft game which brought me back again in crypto.

I don't know what you are talking about when you say slippage but yield farming is huge right now. You can deposit your coins in a platform like Ref Finance and earn $REF governance token rewards. You can get an APY of over 200%, which is much better than staking rewards and beats most traders.

High market cap tokens can be purchased under 1% to 3% slippage. But new Defi or NFT tokens with small marketcap needs to be with high slippage especially if the price has a huge price spread. Personally I am using 10% to 11% if the price is so bullish and I want to enter the market immediately.

No, slippage its not kind of fee cut, its difference between the prediction price on that time and the actual price on the time transaction executed.

There are lots of good defi in the market started from the compound, AAve and many more. We are also entering the new trend called play to earn and metaverse.

Becareful with those projects. I never heard them all and they may be another garbage defi projects. there are lots of fake defi tokens created by the scammer as well.

DeFi project simply is anything that traditional finance do, but its on the blockchain, example Saving and Lending activity, Trading activity (Decentralized Exchange), Deposit (Staking), and many else.
Slippage is a percentage of difference between the price expected over the price executed, so its not a projects.
I dont really know what hype on the DeFi right now, but two of DeFi im following right now is OMM Finance from ICX blockchain and Birb from BSC blockhain.
