In order of stability, I believe in ETH, LTC, DASH, and maybe tether; in theory it should remain stable. However, if the whales start dumping Bitcoin after the futures, it could affect all of these alt currencies.

My point is that in addition to bitcoin there is some extremely stable altcoin that is ETH, ADA, NEO, OMG, and DASH. This is because these are altcoin with potential foundation and it has very good application to reality
There aren't really any stable altcoins but I'm guessing what you are asking are for altcoins which coins are the least likely to have their prices fluctuate. The fact is that the prices of altcoins mostly follows the price of bitcoin and as long as bitcoin keeps fluctuating then the altcoins will too so there are no stable coins.

Bitcoin and ethereum is most valuable crypto currency, I think bitcoin is king of crytpo currency.If you check in coinmarketcap you can find above 1500 altcoins and some coins are reached above 10x level in 6 months period.I think best to choose the top 100 coins from coinmarketcap.Check the market cap and project structure. If you buy some cheap altcoins may be you will get more profit in couple of months,
I do not think any altcoin is stable, they are always fluctuating in the market, all the business markets depend on supply and demand, the stability is very difficult, if you want to choose safe penny business ETH and BTC.
Base on the statistics and graph in the market the altcoins that are most stable were the top five coins such as the ethereum, ripple, bitcoincash, eos and litecoin. They tend to have a high percentage rating for most of investors and these altcoins can be able to give you twice or even thrice earning.
I think the more coins and projects used for the intended purpose, the more stable the price for the alcoin itself, but the potential of the project is also very important, because the more potential the project looks good it will be the stronger the investor holds the coin in the portfolio (the investor can still buy coins ), Altcoin is always dynamic, because its market capitalization must be shared with other altcoins. I think the most established and most stable Altcoin is Eth. The rapid development of Eth sanagt, from first appearing up to now Eth has become the second coin after Bitcoin.
