However, I just found out that the BTC address I imported from Jaxx to Electrum shows 0 balance, is there anywhere else to show the actual balance then?
Are you sure about that? It's showing 0BTC only at Electrum?

Try to:

- Recheck if the address matches with the one from Jaxx;
- Recheck if you exported the right address (and not an empty one by mistake);
- Search the address in a block explorer (like Blockchain.info) to see if there is really any balance.

Hi, I just installed Electrum for the first time, but when I clicked onto the adresses icon, there appears to have a bunch of addresses already.  What are they?
Electrum is a deterministic wallet. It was designed to generate many addresses from your master seed. Those are the first addresses generated from your wallet. You can receive coins in any of them as many times as you want and when you wantt.

And if I'm using Jaxx wallet at the moment, how do I use Electrum to sign message for BTC that's in Jaxx?  Thank you, hope I'm asking the right questions because my is spinning in this new thing 😣
You will need to export your private key from Jaxx and import it into Electrum.

Export your private key:
"Menu" -> "Tools" -> "Display private keys" -> Copy the private key of the desired address. (P.S: NEVER SHARE THIS PRIVATE-KEY WITH ANYONE)

Create a new wallet and import your keys to Electrum:
"File" -> "New/Restore" -> "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys" -> Paste your private key -> "Next".
