DVC is dirt cheap! got ~1500 of them

GHS is probably the best option imo. i am getting BTC, NMC, IXC, and DVC while holding GHS

More and more serious miners are now starting to use some hash power to mine Litecoins

As someone late to the coin game, I'm focusing almost entirely on LTC. At this point it just seems too difficult to get into BTC mining. Today it's still barely feasible for me to invest in some good gear, but at the rate of difficulty increase, that gear will be worthless in less than a year.

Best future has Bitcoin, many devs, best security and by far best merchant support.

BTC if you got tons already. LTC if you just have been starting, and ANC, BQC, NMC, DEV, XPM for the daily trading.

I would say only BitCoin could be interesting to hold. Short term thinking, several Crypt coins could be used for exchanges or speculation, but in the future, only one bitcoin can predominate, maybe can be competitors, but I don´t think that you can get much profit of them.

There can be more than one big coin in the future. I don't think there will be as many as there are currently out there today, but BTC and LTC should be major players for a long time.

It's worked before in other commodities. Gold and silver, for instance, are in the same category of investments, have been around a long time, and people buy both.

I'd say Anoncoin looks like a good bet - I like the idea that there won't be as many so in theory it could increase.

Number of coins is irrelevant as long as there are enought smalest units (Satoshis) to use for trade

bitcoin, litecoin, namecoin and protoshares
Would agree with this, add CGB and Protoshares (which also become BitShares pretty soon, and you get to keep Protoshares).

bitcoin, litecoin, namecoin and protoshares

double this. litecoin has many already in the game. and protoshares (bitshares) are promising.

I think it may be too early too speculate.

The majority of currencies did not hold any value until the recent FTC announcement. There will likely be many more surprises in store over the next 6 months.

I'd say BTC and LTC, but I'm not much of a risk taker.
