Cockfighting did not originate in Philippines so I don't think this is in the list.

Despite the fact that cockfighting is so popular in our country, as far as I know it did not originate here. I guess we can include the gamble of kids or sometimes adults with the spiders they caught on mountainsides since I did not heard it in other countries. Another thing is the Kara, or the other gambling games that includes coins in the streets of the Philippines.

it may not originated in the philipines but philipines is still an asian country and they love to gamble using cocks/chicken  .  the game also popular on other asian country as well as spider games like you mention or shall i say insect fights in general because there were also other insects that being used to gamble . card games also is verry popular on the asia . there are many kind of games inside the card game category  but any of these are being played every single day on our place  .

Well most of the old people here in Philippines loves cockfighting. The only thing they care about is their chicken, thinking about it all day. There's a lot of street gambling games here in our country, go to peryahan and you'll see a lot of gambling games. I used to play that spider game, buying some strong at devouring other spiders on the stick.

Cockfighting was also very popular here at my place, a country near the Philippines, before gambling was banned. At that time, every cockfight's event would be so crowded. But frankly I do not know the origin of this game. Clearly, this game has been here for a long time.

Cock fighting originated in Asia and it became famous to locals there. Even fighting pits were build just to held a cock fighting event. Many gamblers go there and bet on their favored cock. Some rich people have farms and breed high quality roosters there  to participate into cock fighting.

There are classic games but not really the best games like horse racing game, cock-fighting, ending and Carnaval games which involve also money that are still being played till today but of course there are also casinos which wealthy gamblers prefer to go to.

Horse racing or chicken fighting is a classic game but many people like this kind of gambling. In every country I believe this is still their best game. Over time, new gambling will continue to emerge to replace the old best gambling.

I think one draw is that it's far cheaper. Where I live it's half the price of a regular lotto ticket. (The various lotto games from 6/42 to 6/58 all cost the same.)

And the instant gratification part - there is a draw every 10 minutes! Lost that last game? Well, here comes the next one, try your luck some more!
If you think that it would be a good idea that there would be a draw Every 10 minutes, then you are mistaking it. I think having that kind of frequency would make someone more addicted to it or possibly prone to addiction. That's the problem with most humans; they want instant gratification and no more hardships happening. People shouldn't be that lazy.

If you mean "best" as in most popular or got wide range, I would say it's Keno. Most lottery outlets in many countries carry the game. I consider it the instant-gratification cousin of lotto.
Keno has been popular in my country and I did enjoy playing it. Lotto is definitely famous but it’s very hard to win in it. Imagine multiplying your money thousand times with a small amount. Lol.

There is a game in one part of the world near me, towards Philippines and Indonesia, if anyone heard of it, it translates to Crab. And very popular in Vietnam and China, my parents played it all the time, you guys know this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoo_Hey_How
Never heard of this mate but upon checking the link it seems like The Tile game in China the Mah-jong but.correct me if I'm wrong since i don't also play that game lol

Anyway i guess all of ths game in asia had been mentioned but its nice to see how gambling minded asian people was having created all of these games 😆

"Hoo Hey How" is a Chinese dice game and is very popular in that part of the world. It is similar to a dice game but instead of numbers on the dice, there are symbols (King ,Fish, Prawn, Butterfly Crab) on the dice.

There are so many games in this world and I want to believe the ones we never know of are more than the ones we probably have seen. This is the first time I am learning about this game and I would admit that it is definitely going to be interesting and worth playing. I think majority of us who are new generation gamblers are quite more familiar with games that deals with technology and this is the reason poker games now tops the list.

The only Asian game I had known about is cockfighting and the only reason I could know this is because of the constant topics that came out some months back concerning the game on the forum, and I am sure it would be the best game from Asian territories because it seems all gamblers from those region liked and played the game at one point in their lives.

There's a thread before that's named 'ending game' and that came from an Asian country. The mechanics of the game is it will depend on the ending score of a basketball game and that could be an NBA match or your local basketball league.
If the final score is 98-79 then the ending result will be 9-7 (97).
Yes, that’s a good betting game from the Philippines but I don’t think its popular around asia or its really good. I guess Majhong is the best game that is originated from China and adopted by many countries. I play this game and its really fun and profitable to play this one, i think western countries also know this.

Dont get me wrong but i guess OP just wanted to know gaming games that originated in Asia so ending game will do. I also wanted to add cock fighting that is also a very addicting game here in the Philippines and almost all of the filipino men knows and play this one. I dont think they have similar games like this in other countries.
Cockfighting is common especially in South America and i think Asia just copy this kind of gambling. I think most gambling games that we play today is originated in Asia. I can't think any gambling games that aren't originated other country except maybe to the roulette that you can tell it by its name.

Another one I can think of is Mah-Jong. It's still quite popular in Asia. Not so much in the West but there seem to be enthusiasts.
Mah-jong is definitely the go-to gambling game. It’s my parents hobby to play with other family members. It’s funny to see them trash talking each other on who have the most money at the end.

Haha I know this game, in Brunei and neighbouring states in Malaysia and Indonesia it's called Katam-Katam or Ketam (Crab). The wikipedia seems to reference it in Hokkien in my part of that world it is the same "HuHeHau" (FishPrawnCrab). I have NO idea how it's played but it uses dice with the six images on their sides. You place bets on a big board with the same images and the dice results give you winnings (I don't know the odds).

Totally popular and in every illegal underground casino. I totally forgot about this until this was mentioned. Every few weeks in Brunei local news you'd see the police raid these games hahaha.

DEFINITELY not Mahjong. Just pure dice.

Ok, so we are all focussing on these games but what about the games that should not include money but as Filipinos, we put out money on it.

That includes the spiders we bet on but most importantly, how about the Filipino toys we are playing, I'm talking about Teks, about Pogs, and the Rubberbands. As a kid, I bet on rubberbands using my rubber bands, I don't use my money though, but in Teks? Damn! My mom usually uses 2 hangers to hit me with that. I spend my monthly allowance with what we call Teks-money. We bet money on Teks. For those who don't know, Teks is like those trading cards in NBA but in our case, that is all Anime, Movies, even Dramas.
Lol we use those youngsters game to gamble wayback years when we were kinds,I remember using Teks but the bet isn’t not card instead it’s actual money, things the at forbidden by our parents but we do in some far places without the reached of our mothers.
The Teks-Money thing lol

And there are one of the most famous gambling in school specially in Highschool, and that is Called “Digits and Lucky9” but we don’t use cards instead our own Paper Fiat .or sometimes even Calculators is enough to satisfy the need to gamble and win over classmates

Can’t forget those younger times that a always want to turn back times, unforgettable and full of memories

Baccarat, Keno, Mahjong and Sic Bo are one of the most populars, especially in Hongkong and Macau due to the number of people familiar with the said games. I myself am playing Mahjong in local gambling houses and it sure is an easy way to earn some side money if you know how to hustle your way through the game. Baccarat, on the other hand, is famous on big gambling houses  and casinos in literally most parts of Asia, and you can't go wrong playing that game as it's tok fun as well.

Philippines is from Asia so there's no conflict. Asia is a continent so any gambling game that originated from an Asian country can be considered.
Yeah Mahjong is one popular game though until now I don't know how to play the game although I have Chinese relatives. I see them play this game and in casino's crypto or not, there's a game of Mahjong.
^ Because mahjong is originated and developed in China and that country is a part of Aisa country, many Chinese people who like playing Mahjong a game that based on tile that has a symbol. I rarely have seen a Mahjong feature game in online casino maybe it is hard to find a match. Just like poker, you need to seat the table first but Mahjong game needs only 4 people to play.
Majhong is a common or famous game on Philippines which is originated from China. There are lots of games that had been adopted locally but I cant figure it out each one of their origins.Like also with the famous card game tong-its which most locals do know about this games existence. It might or cant be seen internationally but these games are quite entertaining.
