I think the chances are very small. We cannot really calculate them because it's unclear which factors we should take into account when doing this, but on a scale from 1 to 10 with one being very likely and 10 being next to impossible, I'd give it a 9. Many argue that with technologies there are always nice improved things replacing the old ones, but I think that Bitcoin has been around for long enough and has faces strong competition from literally thousands of altcoins. And it not only remains #1, but also still has a huge share of the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies, with the closest rival (Ethereum) being nowhere near it (19% against 42%).

The Standard Protocol - Solving Inflation
When the famous Satoshi Nakamoto first designed his masterpiece, few could possibly have imagined the almost $63,500 peak that sent investors into a frenzy.

I do not believe that a time will come when bitcoin will be overtaken by another cryptocurrencies.  Considering the many factors that contributes to the success of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency, you'd realise that no other cryptocurrencies comes close.
If you'd talk in terms of price, bitcoin tops the list. The second cryptocurrency is Ethereum and it just surpassed the $4k mark unlike bitcoin that has a ATH of $63k.
Secondly, talking about adoption, bitcoin has gain widespread adoption more than any other cryptocurrency. This is partially due to the fact that it is the first cryptocurrency and partially due to the fact that quite a lot of top companies are adopting it.

I am sure that sooner or later this will certainly happen. There are a lot of reasons for that, it makes no sense to list everything here. But think for yourself, sooner or later all the bitcoins will be mined, all the bitcoins will be sold or bought, the mining capacities will be stopped and they will start to mine so that the market and technology do not stand still and are constantly developing. I think bitcoin will always be from the point of view of a discoverer and in the end it will become a kind of collectible coin - call it whatever you like.

These are clickbait articles without any substance to rely on. It's highly unlikely that bitcoin will be overtaken by any other currency at any point of time in future. There will be currencies which will give a little competition to bitcoin but there's no question of overtaking it. In real world comparison, it sounds like South Korea overtaking the economy of US. That's not gonna happen.

Pioneers always win in majority of the cases (there are exceptions obviously). But the way bitcoin has reached the crypto users and the way companies are using it as an alternative to cash reserve, there's simply no turning back for bitcoin.
Exactly, there is no cryptocurrency that is ever going to be capable of overtaking bitcoin especially when it was created with such characteristics, if someone wants to create something that could displace bitcoin then they need to create something different that is just not a fork of bitcoin, a cryptocurrency is never going to cut it, it will have to be a different concept, however this is getting more unlikely by the day as each day that passes in which bitcoin not only survives but thrives makes it more difficult for any other concept to surpass it.
