Don't go all in with altcoins, always buy some btc. With that said, there are some altcoins that I truly believe are going to skyrocket in the next few months, and will most likely survive the next altcoin exodus. XMR, I can't recommend this altcoin enough, undervalued and huge potential to be one of the leading altcoins in the market. ETH, obviously. LTC, this alt has survived throughout the years and still remains solid in the top 10 alts. Maybe this is a good moment to buy altcoin because all the prices are down, but I personally do not dare to take risks because the market has not been very stable

But I advise you to take some researches about coins, because we all know that in this digital market, which requires you a lot, you must be flexible, well-known.Thus deep knowledge is one of the most important key for you. I would suggest you to invest in deeponion, etn, monero eth and bitcoin. For me this is the chance to buy more than you can. Because im sure after this dip of all coins, a huge/massive pump will soon to come. And these altcoin i recommend will surly flow smooth as how they pump after.
BTC now is out of date and ETH attracts more and more attention from the public beause it can overwhelm what BTC can do. May be after Etherium zero launched, ETH price will fall down a little bit. In addition, in the recent, we can see some weakness of the ETH system in dealing with such an enoumous quatity of transactions. for example crypto cat, now i've just taken a look at ARCBLOCK ICO, they claims that they was born for blockchain 3.0, which means that they can solve the current weakness of blockchain system.

if I may suggest, you better buy bitcoin because its advantage is bigger than its other altcoin, but if you want to buy altcoin better you choose eth or bch .

What I know is a good coin to invest is BTC and ETH, because the two coins are very popular among altcoin users.
Altcoin prices now is so nice. But I guess after correction the first will grow BTC and I can't even imagine, where BTC price will stop. Maybe 50k? 
And only after BTC, when it stopped, alts will go to the moon. My choice is ICON, EOS, RDN, NEM.

Any cryptocurrency that has unreasonable amount of supply and those coin with limitlessness supply should be avoided. In addition to supply audit is any centralized coin that is owned and it,'s operation is decided by one or group of persons should also be avoided!
With everything down, pick your poison, but as always do your research. If you trust that XRP will do what it says and have the effect that they want on the banking market, then buy up some ripple! etc. Research is key. I would focus on coins that try and solve real world problems. Oh and buy some Dogecoin...lol kidding. But honestly who would have thought a coin based on a meme/dog would get as high as it did/is. haha. Anyways, the market is low pick you up some coins! My favorites are DeepOnion, XRP, (still have faith in TRX), POE, and RLC. Good luck!
