There's no need to be upset
~ Probably, you may look for a casino which is not accepting any kind of fiats including different payment processors. Because, when a casino handles fiat then it may start enforcing us to clear KYC at any time and most gamblers still hate it.

If the casino is in the jurisdiction of the countries whose laws regulate cryptocurrencies, they also at any time may require their customers to pass the KYC, even if there is no such requirement when registering an account. That's why you should be more careful when choosing a casino and be ready to provide your personal information at the first request.

or you can opt to gamble only on casinos that have no KYC or descentralized ones
i'm surprised we don't have more of this kind of application running on ethereum and sidechains these days

I know there are more mainstream poker sites that use bitcoin in addition to other methods, but I'm wondering if there are any more bitcoin-only sites that I've missed.
No, there would be very thin possibilities for bitcoin-only gambling sites to be existing. I mean not just poker gambling offering site, but in general with all types of gambling also, we cannot find a services to be accepting only bitcoins as these days altcoins have become a prominent options in gambling industry. I am sorry, I could not recall a gambling site which is accepting only bitcoins and offering poker.

Many countries in the world do not accept cryptocurrencies so they prefer casinos through fiat while play money poker is definitely a different game than real money pairing if you've done well in free games, you've probably got all the skills you need to do well in the real thing. In fact you can get even more success as a play money poker unexpected as it really means players can't lose their chips and is quite predictable by taking pretty ridiculous steps for it and many more exploitative real money games.

Poker in my country usually use real site and not support deposit using bitcoin or altcoin, maybe have an easy way to convert and take deposit or withdraw faster by using fiat than crypto. Maybe looks interesting when using with cryptocurrency and bitcoin now raise higher price but how to calculated about profit and loss there.
In which country you are living? there really are countries that don't support cryptocurrencies and much worse is that they don't support both, online gambling and cryptocurrencies. But you're still in good condition in that country for allowing online casinos to operate and it's totally good even if they only accept fiat because that's what the casino prefers.

Stake still be my site for gambling and playing poker there because easy to access and keep safety for using now.
Stake for poker? CMIIW, I've hovered onto them and they don't have it.

Other major casinos have to invest in poker rooms and make gambler aware they are investing a lot here.Their ROI will be blazing fast as a lot of people nowadays prefer skill games compared to luck ones.I want to see this list go up to number 20 at least.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Poker is not a very profitable game for casinos, both live and online, so I don't see why you say they have to invest. Because you would like there to be more offer, I guess. But casinos look for what is most profitable for them, not what you would like. Aside from that, the poker market has been shrinking for years. It experienced a boom in 2003 and had its period of expansion, but I would say that from black friday in 2011 and the massive regulations began a period of contraction that continues to this day. This is another reason for casinos not to invest in poker. Why invest in something that has less and less customers?

Well the truth is the first time that I see that there may be the possibility of investing in a poker site, although I think they have been a bit confused, because every time a deposit is made in a place to play it is not a guarantee of It should be seen as an investment, however I agree with you, when playing poker at stake.com they give a good guarantee of play, in addition to the fact that the strategy you have to play gives good results. There are also other sites that are reliable, however one always looks for the safe, although for me I have always liked poker in PVP mode, I think that the chances of winning increase much more.

Don't Get Involved
Well, in the meanwhile there has been come up some bitcoin-only poker sites, but really popular is no one of those as far as I know.
I am a passionate poker player (online and offline) and I have been playing for years on sites like pokerstars etc. When I looked up for a crypto-only poker rooms and tried some, I was almost always disappointed. The only site I found halfway good was blockchain.poker.

Totally agree with you. SwC is already dead (omae wa mou shindeiru, SwC, he he) and there is no any good crypto poker site in a whole crypto space. Some poker rooms in places like Sportsbet is pretty lame without needed amount of players.
So we still playing with cash  Sad
What about now, do you any source which one site most popular bitcoin-only poker? I am looking not any good site and safety for playing because many site look not safety, with not using https site with his domain, I check last previous site have many complaint about their withdrawing delay but is not realistic to mention the project name. I think need new site with safety when deposit btc or altcoin and could play easy on poker based on cryptocurrency.

Bringing the Game Back to Players Decentralized Poker Powered by Cryptocurrency - https://coinpoker.com/

I was active there when they started, but after a while, I lost passion and I just quit playing there! At that time I thought this can be the next big thing... decentralized poker, their own coin, but looks like people didn't like it a lot! Even now after years, not many people know about them, so I can only guess they didn't do a good marketing plan!

Anyone plays here, are they worth trying them again or not?

They had a lot of bad reviews and unhappy players a couple of years back but still operating today. They never outright stole player funds but shady behavior indeed. You find several threads about them on different poker forums where players had a hard time getting withdrawals.
Would stay away for sure. Not difficult to find much better alternatives

I didn't play poker for a while... I am short on time and the places I know are not so interesting anymore! There are moments when I would like to play few hands or some tournament, and I start thinking about where to play and I just quit... in one of those moments I remembered Coin Poker and I was thinking to give it a try, that didn't happen, and after your words that will probably never happen! Thanks for the heads up!

I don't know. The marketing tactic or allure of physical casinos can't really be compared to online casinos. With physical casinos, you are using more of your senses. Its not just typing/clicking on your keyboard but so in some physical casinos you can see and touch your winnings.

It makes a big difference, psychologically. Its like that psychological thing where you spend more money online than you would if you had the physical cash in your hands. It just feels less real therefore, worth less.

Online casino born because of the pandemic and this is just a way for every casino establishments to continue the operation of their business despite of the restrictions for minimum health protocol. It's true that there's a big difference between gambling inside a casino premises than gambling online but at some point these kind of gambling activities made online delighted every gamblers because they can still gamble even inside their home. However, in another country restrictions are already lifted and other gambling business were back to operation.

well, the thing is online casinos could comply to regulations by restricting IP or something like that but people would be able to bypass that using a VPN
much harder to regulate online casinos than real life ones where you can check IDs, even though these can also be faked and people will find a way, there are differences.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
I can't believe that there are people who really play online casinos.

There's a huge number of online casino players, especially during this pandemic where there are restrictions and gamblers couldn't go to physical casinos. It might not sound as loud as the traditional casinos but online casinos are actually providing convenience for most players. We're now in the modern days where we could find everything online.

1. SwC Poker
2. Nitrogen Sports
The two Bitcoin poker sites that you see are both the best and are often used by gambling addicts, SwC Poker also offers various types of poker that you can play, one of them: 8s, hold'em, PL Big O, Badeucy, OFC, Big O/8 and of course many others, to get you excited about poker betting.

But you have to control yourself when making poker bets at SWC, if you don't control, you can be sure your chip can be empty without realizing it, in SWC, most people are too relaxed and ambitious to make bets, because there are too many types of games, so if you choose a poker gambling site SwC Poker and Nitrogen Sports, try to be professional and aware, it's gambling.

In general I would advice against playing poker on a unregulated site. Unless you play for pennies and fine with the possibility of being cheated by other players.

Big sites like Pokerstars, I-poker and GGPoker spend a lot of resources on keeping the games fair and free from bots.
If you play on a site that doesn't require KYC the chances are much higher of running into collusion or other forms of cheating. Its not enough to just trust the site, like in sportsbetting and casino, but you also have to trust that they have a good team that spend a lot of effort and resources to pick out the bad apples. Which is something I do not think they have.

Well so far I still use it and sometimes often play at Swc Poker which is much more fun. There are many choices for playing Poker, but for me to play Bitcoin poker, I still use the two sites above. Oh, I also played at Grand Poker but the ROI level was still inferior to Swc Poker which was the favorite.
^ Before I saw someone hosted a tournament in Swc Poker room here in the forum but now I don't see maybe they have been stopped already.
Playing poker online is really have fun, it is totally different from the physical casino. You cant even bluff your opponent for the chances of winning, the best with poker is on the player-to-player not against on the house edge. You can apply your skills here and you guessing power just to increase your chances of winning. Swc poker room is quite a good thou.

So what's the problem with online casinos if we've been playing at online casinos for a number of years? do you only visit physical casinos? It's impossible if you don't know the online casino at all. Or it's unfortunate how you view online casinos as mere forms of gambling. We are looking for more fun.
But if you really haven't, don't give it a try if you don't want to be addicted and can't control your emotions. Usually people who are not familiar with online casinos are much more curious.
