when casinos state that people over 18 can play, Is precisely because people over 18 are supposed to be responsible adults, then losing money at casinos and then complaining doesn't make much sense for people over 18 years they're supposed to be adults and with the brains to think they can lose in casinos and that's why they should look at gambling as something where they have a chance of winning and losing and accepting defeat without complaining and and don't keep contracting debt to keep playing

^ This what how we treat gambling, gambling is not your source of income nor chasing your losses money, that is not how gambling is meant for you if you act like this. Be always responsible at all times and gamble that you can afford to lose and you will be fine in gambling. Always keep in mind putting limits on gambling and don't let your mind become addicted. So if you can able to handle all of these, you will be fine and have nothing to worry about addiction because in the first place you are already aware of what will be the outcome if you cant control your gambling habit.

Gambling is for entertainment.Doesnt matter if you do win or lost but majority of people is really minding about on winning which this kind of motive will really mold that kind of mindset on where First if you are in your lucky day for sure you will win and get more money and became rich.

While you are not completely wrong at the same time the way you put it as only being 3 options makes it seem as if there is a 33% chance of becoming addicted and this simply is not true, while it is true that majority of gamblers lose money over the long term when they gamble at the same time the chances that you are going to get addicted are very low, and you can make them reach almost zero with the right techniques. That first possibility happens extremely rarely if you have noticed,very few people come out as winners from a casino.Even if they win a few times it is a false illusion as in the long run they will come back thinking they will always win soon to be faced with the reality which is that losing in casinos is common most of the time.In order to not become addicted set aside a bankroll to use and stop once you lose it,do not continue further or things will go downhill for the worse.
we already know the nature of gambling, so it is really up to the player to what extent he will divulge himself into this game. because if he will not control himself and follow his desires, more then likely, he will turn to be a gambling addict, which has a lot of negative consequences in his life. this is why casinos don't have a warning signal if you are playing too much or not. they will allow you to play as long as you want. you can't blame them because that's their business, it should come from your end, as a player, the control needed to combat your addiction. they can just give you the reminder to gamble responsibly but that's it. they will not stop you from depositing your money to their site.

2.When you win and are really happy, yes you and everyone around you are much happier and that day is your golden day. A happy life.
3.If you are an expert, yes you build your wealth.
Obviously few negative outcomes:
1. We loose other good things happening around us since spending entire time in gambling or in casinos.
2. Since addicted, you loose your wealth and loose family members love and care.
3. We mentally spoil us by restricting us within the circle around.

The word "join" confused me a bit, I thought OP is investing in a casino or a gambling site, because if we speak of gambling, we don't join them, instead, we gamble against them to win and the reality is a gambler loses in the long run, that's why casinos are so profitable.

LOL, to the point of getting angry and crying? does that sound like only children who are not given pocket money? Shouldn't you be prepared to lose before gambling? before hoping to win you know you will lose the risk. As for addiction, it depends on whether you have strengthened your emotional control or never prepared for it at all?
The question is why to want to gamble if too many things are complicated and for me, it spoils your peace of mind while gambling. Losing and winning are inherent in any game, not only in gambling, everything must be rooted in the two categories of winning and losing.

I think all possibilities can happen even without the need to classify the various possibilities into parts 1, 2, and even 3. If you break it down like that, then I don't think it becomes a benchmark for us to gamble. Because if you don't win and lose? Looking at this addiction story we always notice the victim can't just help himself, he tries his very best to get back at his losses and then loses everything it's really so sad that gambling addicts keep increasing by the day despite it's ugly side. Hey the number 1 is what I would like to comment on. I don’t think only luck can make you win that much to become rich in gambling. I don’t even believe in getting rich by luck in gambling because gambling is a very risky and addictive activity you can only win an inconsiderable amount that will make you want to gamble more base on the luck you enjoyed previously until you lose and keep losing. I think the third one shouldn't be added as the third. It should only be two, you win and you get addicted and you lose and then you get addicted, I think there's no grey area for this one because even those people that say that they can control themselves when gambling is just an addict in denial and is really good at hiding their addiction.
I think there's a fine line between those who are actual gambling addicts and people who just want to have fun while gambling regardless of how the outcome turns out. The fact that one continues playing despite accruing losses doesn't mean addiction. If your opinion is that anyone who claims to gamble with control is an addict, does this mean that there aren't people that are able to put their gambling demons at bay? I will use myself as an example. I know when to stop or when to give up the chase to win back losses.

I don't know about number one, seems a little fictional to ever really happen, just one day of winning streak in gambling and you're already rich? I think there's a certain amount of money you should have before being considered a rich person. Third seems more likely to happen to anyone and the second one I think doesn't exist.

Number one is a really rare thing to happen, remember that gambling is only profitable for the house and if you're winning against them, there's a possibility that they will kick you out to prevent themselves from bleeding out due to you winning. And the only one that's really successful when it comes to gambling are those that play lottery, they spend less time gambling and they get the big money.
The first one actually happens although it's very rare and sometimes if it does instead of leaving with the fiat won the greedy and addicted ones will still want to stake more and end up losing out on everything. There are only two outcomes: either you win or you don't. Mostly, most gamblers experience losing due to the lack of self-control and discipline in which they convert their winnings to losses at the end of their gambling spree.
Based from my experience, I have witnessed my brother winning tons of games on his gambling spree. Unfortunately, those winnings were gone shortly after proceeding further with his gambling activities. That is why, whenever you have exhausted your 'limit' on gambling, better stop and call it a day to prevent overextending on your expenditures.

I think that there is also a fourth way that is probably way healthier than your number 2 and 3. You just gamble with an amount of money that you can afford to lose withoug having any impact on your life and if you lose you may be angry or disappointed which is normal but you shouldn't be devastated because of that loss. In my personal opinion gambling and betting on sports results is for fun or to make a game of your favorite sports team more exciting because you know you can also win some money if your team wins. Of course i won't reach your number 1 with the small amounts that i use for betting and gambling but that is fine with me, because that way i also avoid of getting any addiction.
