I think there is no risk whatsoever if you are careful in doing the airdrop form filling.

I think there's no have to worry about because the donation is not mandatory that you donate by force, Airdrop is made of group that want to help beginners and other members to earn some coins.
Airdrops are designed to give Users coins or tokens for free - similar to Bounties.

The only risk is you lose very precious time you could have use for high value activities for shjit gathering token. The second thing that is at risk is your wallet full of shit token.
You have to create an account in some airdrops on their website, make sure you will not use the password which is used somewhere else. Because you still can be tracked, your address>your bitcointalk account>your email. After that they may be able to access your exchange accounts. Same thing happened with my friend and he had 1btc stolen from an exchange.
I hate managing multiple accounts, but I have found it necessary in order to quarantine my assets. If you follow any of the major crypto youtubers, most of them have accounts dedicated to different holdings, activities, etc.
If you have to download a wallet for the airdrop, there is the potential it could have malware inside, so always scan it in a sandbox first!

I dont see any potential if you give your email address, twitter account, telegram account, or any social media account as long as you dont give your password.. and also your private key because once you give it, they can access your wallet.
You're doing it right by never giving out your private key. I would also stay away from airdrops that ask for all that kind of info (email, twitter, telegram, etc), because they can just sell it for more than their token is going to be worth (most recent airdrops have been pretty much worthless).
I can't see a risk but you should not use your main email and you should use a different password if you need to make an account
The main risk seems to be getting more e-mail spam. I also never join "airdrops" asking for a donation, never give my private keys to anyone, and install any new wallet programs in a virtual machine. Other than that, an e-mail address dedicated to various forums and GMail spam filter do the job.

The most potential risk will be if you mistakenly input your wallet private keys during join form fill up and to download their wallet application in which it might hack your bitcoin private keys and information. I just wonder why they are asking for donation if they are giving free altcoins, maybe they have other purpose but anyway i never join any airdrop because i am very busy of campaigns and trading these airdrops is just a waste of time for me.
I don't see much risk in signing up for free airdrop, so long as intending participants are careful not to disclose sensitive information about them that can make scammers gain access into their personal accounts. there's little that can be done with the basic information such as e-mail, telegram username, Twitter username and Etherum address etc. that are usually required to complete airdrop forms.

as far as you are not giving your private keys , you are safe ,
and also
1) never disclose your original email ,
2) never use same password which you are using for your email . use always different one when you are signing up .
3) and of course never share your private key for any of your address .
4) do a complete research on company when you are sharing social accounts with them during signing up.
Airdrops can be risky as all. For example if you need to download software to participate in air drop, or if you need to register your email it can be spammed. But in most cases airdrops are safe.
Why would you even give your private key if you know that they can access your account through it? That is a lot of common sense needed, bro. Just be smart, if you sense that it is not worthy of your trust, then don't join on that airdrop. And airdrops are free, just join if you want.

Risk of joining a "Fraud" airdrop , When you mistakenly input your private key in the form. Some people mistakenly put their private key because they wan't to be in the list as fast as they could. Also, when airdrop ask for your private key. Usually newbie who will fall mostly to this kind of scam. No one should be asking for your PRIVATE KEY and NEVER give your key to anyone else. Also, another thing when dev will ask for some money to make your transaction faster in receiving coins. Some of them will deceive you that if you will contribute atleast some Eth then you will be on the special list , where in fact their coin or token has no value. Though , some airdrop are legit like postoken . most of them are rigid and are made to make dev rich!
