You can visit localbitcoin from your mobile phone to find local sellers, which will help you to cash out your bitcoin to that local currency. That is one thing that you can do while you stay in that country, and I am sure that you will get many good and recommended sellers that can help you. If you can find a bitcoin ATM, then you can go to that machine to cash out the bitcoin, but unfortunately, not all big countries will installed that machine. But the other way that you can do is before you go to another country, you can cash out your bitcoin with your favorite way, so you already have the money, and after your visit that country, you will not have to cash out your bitcoin.

The answer is depend on the regulation of the government, in my country there is only one bitcoin wallet that have been legalize by our government in order to withdraw bitcoin into fiat currency and it is the coins.ph. It is a bitcoin wallet but it have a lot of functions, there are also a lot of ways to cashout our bitcoins if we will use it as wallet. One of the easiest way to cash out is through remittance center and through bank account.

If i ever go to another country and try to cash out Bitcoin,

what are the ways?

Only two things i can think of...

1. Make certain bank account where i can cash out Bitcoin

2. In person

1st option may not be possible though at certain country...

Any thought?
Cashing out bitcoin in another country shouldnt be a burden if you ask me but the first thing you need to understand is the country traveled perspective about cryptocurrency, if it a country that legalized crypto you could just search online for Bitcoin ATM near to you but if it a country that does not support crypto you can just make use the exchange you use before while you cash out the fiat using fiat ATM.

Another thing is; if ever in which country you are and suddenly decided to cash out your Bitcoin or convert it to their national fiat currency BUT they don't do it.
You can do; if there are other people you know from another country which selling Bitcoin to their national currency is easy, just here in the Philippines, you can send your Bitcoin their and tell him to convert your Bitcoin to their national fiat currency and that fiat currency will be sent to you may be via bank transfer or any money remittance.

This is quite difficult but for me, it is safe, just be sure you know the person or he/she is trusted who you sending your Bitcoins

Better you change your bitcoin before going to other country, because you will feel frustation to sell or exchange your coin in other country, you will find some problem like laguage, rate, fee, Tax.

Each country have diffirent regulation in view of bitcoin, you can use bitcoin as payment in some country but in other country you can't use it, just a digital asset no more.

All country have own exchange bitcoin market where support for withdrawing your asset to bank account and you can cash out your bitcoin to bank just few hours depend with your exchange regulation, but if your country have banned bitcoin you can convert first your bitcoin assets with other digital currency like PayPal and withdraw PayPal balance to the bank.

You should do some research first if that country you are going to did not banned bitcoin. If it's a pro bitcoin, you can just check out there certified and licensed local crypto exchange and cash it out via remittance money center. Or search their place about ATM machines. The two ways you have mentioned are kinda difficult. Well, maybe if you have an acquintance who also have btc then you can probably exchange to fiat or sell your btc to him.

The easiest way could be checking if they have any ATM, if they do not have any then you can contact with people all around the internet to cash out in a more profitable way for them to sway them to come to you and make a transaction to their wallet while you guys are face to face and get their money. It is of course risky to meet up with someone in case they turn out to be burglars or robbers whatever but at the same time these two are the most sane versions of cashing out your bitcoin there.
^ Lol, this is a very risky part, I think you mean that to find a random people that come from the internet and ask him/her top cash out your fund. I didn't trust anyone if my money is quite big to transact in a bank. For better and safety precaution, probably you will research first before anything else. Research first on your mobile phone the exact place you will go, you can also use any ATM machine for bitcoin but I dont think if there is.

I generally use plastic cards, which is how I withdraw BTC in my country, so in another country. Because in ATMs the spread is great and it is expensive to try. Sending to a bank account is not much different from ATM. Also, I do not want to waste time with this in every country I visit. Another way could be "manual exchange" in the country visited. But here too, there will be problems such as finding someone to trade and having trouble communicating with him and blah blah. So, best of all, find an exchange that charges a small fee and has a standard card all over the world.

The more difficult part would be opening an account on the countries local bitcoin exchange, going to a bank and getting a new account there, cashing out on the local exchange and withdraw to your local bank account, this may take very very long and it will be hugely costly as well.

For the first option, you would need an bank account in the respective country you are residing. This usually is not an easy task as you need proper KYC documents or atleast nationality certificate in order to create bank accounts in foreign countries.

Second option seems suitable for you. You can easily find a number of buyers/sellers who would willingly accept cash for their transactions in exchange with bitcoins so you could easily cashout your bitcoins with those people. You have to find such peoples and once you do, you would never face any problem to cashout your funds in any country.

Bitcoins are vastly spread now and in each country we can find local dealers accepting bitcoins so it has made the world grow in terms of bitcoins. You can't sell bitcoins onto any platform as it might not give you direct cash of the respective country you are residing in so In-person transactions would be a better option for you. You can specify the country you are residing in and try to find some local dealers here on forum itself.

Specify the country please.
Do not leave us hanging.
I see thru your post history that you already replied in one thread. You created one and people are asking here so that we could direct you to a good answer.
There is always a way as long as you have a Mastercard and Visa ATM card. As said, depends on what country you will be transacting.

If you want an easy way out without much hassle/information about you coming about, try peer to peer. Look for local groups and try asking some of them to trade with you. Less hassle, and you can meet up and hell, even ask for a tour even if you want. Other than that, I can only advice the same as others, crypto atms or the like. You could also try making a bank account in that country, but might add up additional expenses and a lot of hassle (possibly) in your part, so it really depends on you.

options 1 and 2 might be burdensome for you because the process will also take time ,rather than the time you wasted better follow the advice of friends change to fiat when your fly ,it's a wise choice and you also don't make it easy by not telling the place your destination country so its difficult for us to make the best solution in your case I mean there are actually many solutions but the problem is we don't know where you're going

I think you will be having a hard time.

There are a lot of countries that do not accept Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. Maybe you can check other exchanges in your place that might be able to help you. Also, you could just use exchanges in your place and make a cash out in your country through your ATM or another mobile wallet, that would be easy and you are ready, don't need to pose that as a problem when you are already in that country.

Well, for the first option, it seems quite difficult, because it requires the original identity of the city or country. while option 2 is possible, but it's likely illegal if you are in a country that forbids using bitcoin as a transaction tool, but if you use it online that makes sense. Well, the best way is to sell your assets before going abroad so you can exchange them.

It depends on the country you are moving to. If you are travelling to a country like India then it will be too hard to cash them out as there is no Bitcoin ATM or even if someone opens one then the fees will be too high.

This might be useful to you as the list is self explanatory and you can see where you can easily cash it out and spend.

know in advance the rules for using bitcoin in the country you are going to visit, and need more knowledge about the account there to accommodate the funds that have been exchanged later. but if you make an exchange at a bitcoin ATM machine there then you only need to know information about how to use it.

The stated Bitcoin ATM is the best invention for this challenge. A lot of projects are coming out with the same idea, It looks a great invention in bitcoin solving a general problem. The only challenge will be how to get it to hands of every interested bitcoin holders even in countries with bitcoin ban. They are working with lots financial organization to pull this through, for some stable coins especially.
