I don't think the problem is within the crypto community, but rather a general problem we have in society today. People are not thinking critical when it comes to money, because there is no financial education in school. We never really learn how to deal with money properly and become to easily excited about false advertising. When objectively looking at all these scams out there we should notice in 90% of the cases that it's good to be true. It's all about developing some common sense when dealing with money, that includes cryptos currencies. Another problem is that the crypto community is still new and not regulated that much. It's easier for scammers to take advantage and it's harder to trace any stolen funds. The best thing we can do is to promote all the major scams, so that nobody else falls for the same trick again. Unfortunately it's hard to avoid all the scams and it takes in some cases the pain of losing money to be more sceptical in the future.

Not everyone has financial education, it's true, but people's caution and responsibility for their money is not very much related to education, although there is a connection. You may not have a good education but be very frugal when it comes to money. Education helps us manage our finances, plan our budget, and invest our money wisely so that it generates income.

Fraudsters come up with new schemes every year, and the reason why people lose money is their gullibility and unwillingness to check everything they are told, they just take their word for it, and this should never be done when it comes to your money. It is better to take the time to thoroughly study the proposed investment and refuse it than to agree and lose money.

Scams are too old but will never be outdated and disappear because, in this society, there are always greedy people who want to make money quickly.
Spot on.  I just don't get why people would assume that scams would just disappear with these precaution. We never know how clever scams would be, since even ponzi schemes seems to pay newer investors and they would think that they're in legitimate platform. Let alone even hackers everyday, they just keep coming at anyday and there ain't nobody that could stop them even if the government tries to just control it all.

I used to be a newbie too, so I understand the psychology of newbies. They will not listen to anyone's advice and always think they are right until they are cheated and lose money. My approach sounds harsh, but I won't give any advice because I know they won't care. I want them to experience things for themselves, knowing that it will cost them dearly. That's how I myself grew up in this market. For me, valuable lessons do not come from free advice but must be bought with money, then they will appreciate it.
I disagree and in fact they could listen more to anyone's advice. It's just that they're listening literally to "everyone" like literally blind to what's going on. Everyone was there at one point and we all just became really skeptical about it all making us be more vigilant about this.

We can only tell them that it is not easy to believe an offer that looks good to be true and always do a thorough check before deciding on something.

We cannot cross that line because we are not responsible for the money. If they are scammed one day, it is beyond our responsibility, especially if we have warned them about the risks of following other people's advice without having or doing previous research.

The important thing is that we have shown the dangers and risks by explaining the signs and then it's up to them. I once explained things like that in great detail and even forbade them to invest like in your case, especially when they wanted to borrow funds from me and I immediately refused.

They were even angry and unhappy with me because they thought I was not supporting them to try it. I explained to him that I would always support him in anything, except if he was caught in a scam, I would hold him back from falling into that trap. From then on, I stopped going too deep into them because I realized I could only explain the information and it will be up to them.

read! that is a must. in order for someone to gain new knowledge and to learn in the most simplistic way, one should read and would not rely to only one source of information. aside from that you should personally try it first in small amounts. as you've said there are lots of newbies who gets swayed easily by some famous influencers or those who hyped about something, but can we save them all? no! we can warn them but i bet they wouldn't even bother to listen specially if those who are doing the advertisements are famous figures. it is also true that they should learn it through their own efforts. the same as how you will spread awareness or convince anyone on investing bitcoin, we cannot be desperate and we cannot force anyone to listen.

but after some days he came across a youtube video, video was live about tesla and elon musk giving away millions in bitcoin, the scam is like this: send 0.01 btc and get 0.02 btc back. I previously told him don't send crypto and there are many scams, but he didn't followed it and sent some amount of bitcoin and after some hours he realized that it was a scam!

He just learnt a valuable lesson the hard way. He will also have a tale to share with other beginners in the cryptosphere, and because it actually occurred to him, it will be more persuasive to them.

No matter how hard you try, some individuals will always be resistant to your advice and continue to do what they want, thus you can never completely save everyone. "Ones bitten twice shy" refers to some persons who are supposed to learn the hard way. However, that won't stop us from disseminating information on how to safeguard your bitcoin and not to fall into scam.

what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways and save newbie's from scams?

Crypto has no easy way. While you're trying to get away from one scam, another will be developing that will appear even more convincing in order to trick newbies.  The best course of action is to simply keep learning and becoming more knowledgeable about various scams, both current and the past, as well as those that may arise in the future.

It is quite sure no one is Monopoly of knowledge we keep on researching and asking, by doing so we increase in knowledge and experience which we got from people, this Bitcoin forum discussion is another very nice and good channel in learning with people that have knowledge in various aspects all over the world, this forum is very helpful that it has rules and allow people to contribute and participate on every kind of issue, idea or knowledge. It has those in charge that control it and monitor all the activities.

Those that ask or those that really want to get knowledge should meet up with those that knows and those that will guide them, and the learner should also be despirately to learn because even learning has different stages and process gradually until one grow up to maturity through patience, endurance and tolerance from the teacher or master.

I think most of the time the best way to learn is to study and read, not "doing". Many people think that experience is the best teacher, and I agree that it has some power there is absolutely some need for experience, that is true. But if you do not study hard, then you are not going to end up with anything at all.

So first of all you need to learn from videos and stuff, just study, do not get scammed, learn what looks like a scam and what does not  from previous examples, talk with people who got scammed before, and talk with people who has never been scammed and yet be here for a long time. I am one of those people, nearly never been scammed, did once knowingly for a gamble, but I knew that anyway so I never been scammed basically, learn from these people to get better.

some days ago i discovered that my friend also invest in bitcoin and not have much knowledge about bitcoin, he just invested in it recently for doubling his money.

In my opinion, information is the key to success, and without it, it will be challenging for someone to be successful. Therefore, I anticipate that anyone entering any form of business should be knowledgeable. before investing in the cryptocurrency industry, a person should have actually spend a lot of time learning and gathering good about knowledge it, otherwise, they will likely losing every amount easily in crypto industry because of many challenges.

but after some days he came across a youtube video, video was live about tesla and elon musk giving away millions in bitcoin, the scam is like this: send 0.01 btc and get 0.02 btc back. I previously told him don't send crypto and there are many scams, but he didn't followed it and sent some amount of bitcoin and after some hours he realized that it was a scam!

This is where greediness always lead us to, when you desperate to make it quickly then you should be ready to take any form risk and also likely to be losing it always. There are many scam tactics but it is double your money that attract intentions of greedy people and newbie.

the question is how can we try to save newbie's from scams in crypto verse, we and many youtuber are saying that don't send bitcoins, there are many scams, etc. or we should not tell and left them to learn the lesson in hard way, I already listened many people those are in crypto for a while they said many things like don't be greedy, stay away from free crypto, etc. but i just listened and not applied and got scamed one time.

I don't think there's anyway rather than given those newbies the proper knowledge and providing them with latest information about scammers new tactics and I believe that have  been happening, so it is now left for newbies to learn from other people experience.nobody is perfect but when you give listen ears, I believe it will help seriously and it will always guide you to the right part.

It is hard to control human greed.  Greed once triggered will listen to no one.  But even so, we should always make an effort to remind people we know to take cautious action and think for multiple times if the offer is too good to be true or it is for real.

what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways and save newbie's from scams?

There is no easy way in learning, we have to strive for it to be able to acquire knowledge.  We need to give time and effort to fully grasp things.  As for saving newbies, it depends on the newbie's open mindedness.  Aside from that, respect and reputation also come to account.  If you have a good reputation, they might listen to your suggestion but if you are not known or is not respected in the community, then any advice you give will be ignored.

what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways and save newbie's from scams?

The real situation here is that you can't be in many places at the same time, and we can't help everyone at the same time. Definitely, some will still fall victim, but at least they will learn. There is no possible way to totally change the fact that some people will still fall prey to scammers, but what we are doing still remains that threads like this will continue to come up, and also outside the forum, if you see some newbies to cryptocurrency or Bitcoiners that have a high enthusiasm to learn from you when you have the time to give them a few good educations about Bitcoin, just do teach them the right thing, and if they get benefits from the education you give them, they may also teach others, and by so doing, the rate at which newbies fall victim may gradually reduce.

First, you should also be careful at clicking links on those Youtube videos that you mentioned. You might end up a victim of phishing schemes which could take all the funds you have if ever it is saved in your computer or somewhere online.
What can we do to make the newbies aware of such scams?
Take them to this forum. I'll bet 100 percent they will learn a lot here since we discuss a lot of things including how to be aware of possible evil acts and how to preserve your Bitcoin in a safer way.
If they don't like signing up here then they better not sign up with other websites that are prone to scams. Getting them informed is the only way to save them, about letting them experience the hard way, that will be a brutal way if they end up losing all the Bitcoin they worked hard to accumulate.

You're right. The best advice and best help for newbies who want to get information about Bitcoin is to direct them to this forum.
Every time I see people hoping to learn something from YouTube, especially when it comes to finance, I am surprised. Do people really not understand that the first purpose of posting any lesson or advice on YouTube is personal gain, that is, personal earnings? You may not be literate in crypto, but if you have subscribers who are easily bought or cheated, it will not matter what level of knowledge you have. And there will always be boobies who will invest their hard-earned money or, on the contrary, send it to any scam, following the crowd. Because many people think that the majority is always right.
Draw your own conclusions; don't trust anyone who offers you a freebie, and the number of subscribers says nothing about the level of knowledge of your alleged teacher on YouTube.
Try to learn on your own. This forum is the best place.

what are the ways to learn lesson in easy ways and save newbie's from scams?
Actually, I checked their social media accounts to see if the project was likely a scam.
1. "Community" is also one of my best important elements for determining whether this project is authentic. Even if a large community project could be a hoax, we can't dispute that the majority of them were legitimate.
2. I also search for "consistent updates or announcement" to ensure that this project is not a fraud.
3. Projects that seemed too good to be true were most certainly a fraud.

This is what I do when I want to know if a project is a scam or not.
So, I believe that following this path would protect newcomers from scams.

One bitter-sweet way to save newbies from scams in the "crypto verse" is to let them learn from a first hand experience of being victim of a scam. Many may disagree on this ideology as been illogical but we all know that when you get a fire burn experience on maybe one of your toe or finger, when you see anything that looks like fire yiu will be the very first to escalate, avoid or distance yourself before anyone else would it.  And OP haven falling a victim of scam has a better understanding than anyone else around him, of the benefits of avoiding any social media, YouTube or online platforms with enticing crypto giveaways.  So at times it's a good thing learning through the hard way as it may save us from bigger victimization in the future.

The easier ways to learn:
1. From other people's experience story.

2. Always ask questions on things you lack understanding about, don't be too quick to engage (FOMO).

3.Stay away from greed as crypto and greed don't go well together.

Well, you already told him things to be careful of, yet he didn't listen so maybe he didn't want to learn the easy way? He's already lucky to have someone who gave an advices about some dos and donts when it comes to Bitcoin but he still send bitcoin to a random YouTube live. It's pretty obvious in the first place that it's a scam since why would you have to send bitcoin first before it doubles?

Some people really don't listen even if others already told them what to avoid doing so they have to deal with the consequences of their actions. I believe there are newbies to Bitcoin who really listen to advices of people who are familiar to it. But there are some who don't so they had to experience losing and getting scammed first before learning their lesson.

some days ago i discovered that my friend also invest in bitcoin and not have much knowledge about bitcoin, he just invested in it recently for doubling his money.
It’s better you advice your friend that bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme where you Will invest and your money will be doubled, he should be careful because most people that are really desperate to make profits without knowing about bitcoin are the once’s that do easily fall for Ponzi schemes, after they have been scammed, they will end up blaming bitcoin, not knowing they didn’t invest in bitcoin, the invested in Ponzi scheme.

Then i told him about what is bitcoin and how it's work, suggested some youtube channel to learn from but, he also did like many people do in greed of making fast and easy money and invest whatever coin is down(cheap) or trending.
I won’t recommend he watches YouTube videos alone, most YouTube videos will just focus on profits, they don’t real talk about lose which is really misleading people, most newbies will end up thinking bitcoin is just about profits, if you invest in bitcoin you are already in good profit which is wrong, if you invest in bitcoin, don’t be surprise you might even be in lose immediately. If he will be watching YouTube videos, he should know their will be lose, bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.

but after some days he came across a youtube video, video was live about tesla and elon musk giving away millions in bitcoin, the scam is like this: send 0.01 btc and get 0.02 btc back. I previously told him don't send crypto and there are many scams, but he didn't followed it and sent some amount of bitcoin and after some hours he realized that it was a scam!
I always find it interesting whenever I advise someone and he/she those not listen and things goes wrong. I don’t trust most of the videos I see on YouTube, but the pattern which they used to scam him is kind of cheap, why will you send someone 0.01btc and you will be expecting 0.02btc without doing anything, the pattern is very cheap but people will still fall for it most especially newbies that think bitcoin will just double any amount you invested.

the question is how can we try to save newbie's from scams in crypto verse, we and many youtuber are saying that don't send bitcoins, there are many scams, etc. or we should not tell and left them to learn the lesson in hard way, I already listened many people those are in crypto for a while they said many things like don't be greedy, stay away from free crypto, etc. but i just listened and not applied and got scamed one time.
We should try our possible best to at least advice then on how to stay protected from scammers, but we all know no matter what you tell some people they won’t listen, if the person refuses to listen then it’s better you leave them so that they will learn it in hard way.

Bitcoin To The Moon 📈📈📈
some days ago i discovered that my friend also invest in bitcoin and not have much knowledge about bitcoin, he just invested in it recently for doubling his money. Then i told him about what is bitcoin and how it's work, suggested some youtube channel to learn from but, he also did like many people do in greed of making fast and easy money and invest whatever coin is down(cheap) or trending. then i told him some lessons i learned in hard way like don't send your crypto to anyone it maybe scam, never invest listening to others, buy low sell high, never gamble with crypto and fiat also, etc.
You have given your best to a friend who gave an explanation about bitcoin and other benefits, your task is correct but friends are not really focused on what you are clear on and this is not your responsibility, the rest of your friends have to learn for themselves what bitcoin is and how the concept works.
Sometimes we are a little confused about learning a beginner even though they have been given articles that are more useful but they are looking for something more dangerous by investing in a get-rich-quick scheme.

but after some days he came across a youtube video, video was live about tesla and elon musk giving away millions in bitcoin, the scam is like this: send 0.01 btc and get 0.02 btc back. I previously told him don't send crypto and there are many scams, but he didn't followed it and sent some amount of bitcoin and after some hours he realized that it was a scam!
He is too greedy so when there is a youtube channel that promotes bitcoin by being able to multiply surely he will be attracted by high returns, this has happened many times and the principle of investing in bitcoin is to get rich quickly so it's so easy to get into the Tesla / Elon fraud device that This classic even had old tricks on such scams.

one more, sometime i came across trading signals telegram channel they are giving their paid membership for trading signals, then i searched their payment address in bitcoin explorer, and the amount was like $500-$600 million. i don't know that amount came from their telegram membership or some where else. but no one will share their personal address(i think that money was from users)
I have never joined any paid channels let alone give trading signals it makes no sense to me but if you find such a large number of assets in their wallets there is probably a lot of trapped and paying members of theirs who entered those VIP channels.
People who enter the channel are people who don't want to try to learn about analysis whereas what we know in the channel is more manipulation of members to buy and owners to sell, usually like that.

Ah, the Tesla scam is such a classic. It was obviously a scam, and you, op, did a good job by trying to warn your friend about not sending cryptos to others. I'm sorry your friend lost that money and will now have to learn the hard way. I think that to learn the easy way, one should do some self-education first by exploring how Bitcoin works, how volatile it can be, which types of wallets exist, and learn about popular scam strategies. Preventive knowledge can help, but people should be willing to take time and learn. That being said, I was a bit careless in my early days with cryptos, so I've also learned the hard way, even though I thankfully invested a very small sum, so it wasn't a big problem.
