But with all said ETC so far has no developers, no dapps and also none of the incoming project on ETH has announce is going to move to ETC except the recent increase in the hash rate but we all know the miners only follow the money, they are setup to make profit not to defend any ethical values. until ETC start supporting real dapps that will justify its valuation in the market.

ETC supports all real dapps that ETH supports.  That said, what do they represent, actually, apart from some Ponzi games ?  Are there real killers running on ETH ?  One had the impression that ETH was a one-project system, with the DAO (and of course not all ETH was in the DAO, as the DAO was supposed to make profit, and hence get in more ETH than originally invested - if the only value increase in the DAO was the increase of its ETH stash on the market, then the return would be just as great for non-DAO holders than for DAO holders).

Now that the DAO is not only dead, but also demonstrated the ridicule of such kind of project, which has put an end for the time being to all such mega projects, what's still there to run on ETH / ETC apart from some silly smart apps like Ponzi games and betting ?

So, probably there aren't any running on ETC, but are there any running on ETH worth mentioning ?

In other words, as you say so rightly, is there ANYTHING that "justifies its valuation in the market" (for ETC as well as for ETH) right now ?

Finally, ETC got finally rid of "leadership", and is more a free-floating project, but can take everything that ETH does.  Isn't that the best of both worlds ?   Isn't the stability and the lack of leadership exactly what makes a good crypto ?

BTW, the attackers' coins are really not any issue.  It is small stash compared to daily volume, and especially compared to all the dumping that most ETC holders in the ETH camp have been doing (and explaining the large daily volumes).

ETC started climbing in price like crazy. seems like a pump.
Ethereum is almost at 10$.
Bitcoin is at 600$.

What's coming next? dump of ETC and rise of both ETH and BTC? or a continuous rise of ETC?

Your topic title question + comment is hard to answer.
Can you clarify what you are asking ?

Such as..
Are you just asking the community here about ETH + ETC ?
Or are you talking about change on larger scale (the whole scene / all coins)

Guessing you meant in relation to ETH /ETC ...

ME i am not so sure.. first thing that comes to mind i think is the attackers deadline.
As far as i heard we don't know what his intentions are when he gets his coins later.
The fear of him dumping might have a major impact if you think about it rationally.
So far..
I think people have been playing with ETC feeling safe and secure knowing the attackers funds are not ready yet.
So just wait until that security is taken away and then we will see what is REALLY going to happen.

Yeah, exactly my thought. I am asking generally about ETC, which is a weird topic, because of the DAO funds that could crash the market.

I have seen people on this forum throwing some hate on you dude, I think you're a good guy. and when is the earliest time the attacker could release his funds to the exchanges?

The revolutionary trading ecosystem
I think it is a pump based on speculative growth because ETC comes for free the only requirement for having it was holding ETH during the hard fork and thanks for the stand against hard fork by some stakeholders in the community and revelation about the shady deal embarked on by the ETH foundation to get the miners to support their bail out deal. Another thing we must be concerned about is power tussle among developers who join the project which I can foresee because of different vision for the platform which can stall progress . Bitcoin is a good example

I don't think ETC is just a pump. People legitimately like it against all odds (51% threat, hacker owning a huge portion of coins, no original dev team, etc) because it's not a bailout coin and because Vitalik is not behind it.

Definitely a good point. Now that no one is behind it, this may then goes up and may surpass ETH and may even beyond.
seem like the end of ETH perhaps. are some features of ETH still there?

Technically ETC is nearly identical to ETH, but the miners have higher immutability standards in practice.

Miners have no higher immutability standards. They just chase the profit. If the ETC price drops, so will the hash rate.
