Probably not good idea Roll Eyes If players feel cheated after every gambling game session, there are some ways to prove fairness of  "probably fair". As it stated above largest casino companies dont need to cheat players which will cause negative feedback about casino.Specially for online casinos there are so many alternatives, cheating issue will destroy their reputation. The only thing casinos need is "house edge". In every turnover casinos take their peace of cake. You need something different and non-discovered idea if you want to audit the "probably fair".

Do you think gambling sites have some kind of hidden code inside provably fair system?
I don't think they need it, IMHO 1% house edge is already enough to give them good advantage over players.
Good luck with your idea.

IDEA is always good thing when it is innovative. You seems to be serious about this project. If you break the chain of house edge and slots algorithm then that would be amazing. That will be your real provably fair game. Lol. Because these online casino are really shity due to their odds and on top of that the algorithm makes the house win always it is not provable fair game. It is just to attract more and more people to their sites and gamble our money. Thats not fair. You should try your project and we are sure you will succeed in that one.

I am happy that there are a lot of people who like my idea. One thing which I want to say for those who saying 'there are a lot of provably fair explanations already': I am not going just repeat how is the provably fair working but to test myself every popular casino. Also there are a lot of games like slots, roulette etc. which are not can be tested easily like dice. They have too complicated way for result getting which should be checked!  Wink
Go for it then.
Just make sure you have enough evidence for when/if you declare a site as a scam, fake provably fair, or fake House Edge.
After all, it'd be your word against theirs. Credibility and all that.
So just be 100% sure with whatever you say and write. You better be able to back up any claims you have. ^^
Good luck.

I am going to create a fully independent topic (and maybe youtube channel) when I will post my own reviews on how is provably fair really working in most of popular casinos + how much is their real house edge.
Did you tried googling "Provably Fair in Bitcoin Gambling" ? You will not want to continue with your after that.Market is saturated and yes you can make a lot of money if you're YouTube channel blows up.
The explanation given by Nlnico on dicesites is more than enough to know how to calculate provably fair mechanism for dice games.

Hoping that you can test every well-known site like a game from crypto-games
We would love some free promotion Smiley

Each gambling house has its own house edge calculations. So far in my view what you have planned is simply a complication. Even the site you think as provably fair has got flaws. Rather than focussing on the calculations of different gambling sites try to develop a provably fair Casino and implement through a new site. You might gain popularity in a short if it works fine.

I would focus on the Youtube channel, since there are already other websites that offer the same information.
You'll also reach more people who wouldn't look into this otherwise.

For this project, I would also try to make it purely donation based or have some other form of income without resorting to using affiliate links from the forums or getting funded by casino's to do a promotion.
A service like this needs to be completely independant andit can't look like you're biased.

I would say go for it. I never really tried to know how provably fair works, I think I just trust on it. But yes, I just look at the logo and kind of trust the site. I don't bet much, so if a casino is well rated I kind of trust it. But your work could be a great addition for users to get more informed about this subject, and avoid being scamed, so I say go for it.

You should do some proper analyzation on each site you want to filtered so that you will not earn some bad reputation if your though's about how fair the site will be wrong and this kind of job/assumption well be more hassle to you and goodluck if you want to implement your ideas onhere.

Yes, the idea is good but I have seen this already got implemented and many of us using it. But still it is a good thing to make your own and we can cross reference the results.
Take it as a challenge and experience. Will look forward to it.

Your idea is very sound. and there would be three different prospective that could come forth from it.
first would be the user base... they would certainly love it as it will show a better view and understanding of their possible gambling gains or loses.
the site owners that are honest and willing to have a better user experience would enjoy your idea also
but the casino owners that are dishonest will certainly get upset and get pretty foul with you for this. so please be prepared.
all summed up 2 of the 3 would still be a positive for you so IMHO go for it and thank you for offering such insight.

I think your idea is very good, it will help people who do not understand how to prove the casino is fair or not. But there is little that I fear if you do it only once after the casino is believed they will be cheating will probably be better if you are willing to check it periodically.

I think you are a bit too late, there is a website already out that does this

https://dicesites.com/provably-fair

If you know the basics you can easily verify any of your bets on any gambling sites such the idea is the same.

I doubt casino lies when they say that they have 1% housr edge because this isn't really such thing to lie. But what's about provably fair, I can agree you. Also there was tagged one owner because of fake provably fair system. Slots and etc things are out of provably fair, they are programmed for profit, not for fair decisions.
P.S idea is good..
Slots can be 'provably fair' but it's a little different. In dice, you control the odds, the amount you wager and also the direction of your range (low or high). This makes it so that even if the casino tries to manipulate the results, any bet can be won. In slots, I would expect a hashed server seed + nonces. That way, it's one static server seed so results are essentially randomized (otherwise casino may just simply return losing outcomes given a static client seed) and you can check afterward. I'm not entirely certain on how the slot outcomes are expressed: if there is a certain combination/icon given a range or if it's simply based on 'amount won' and a visual representation is made. I do understand however that the visual aspect of slots is just that - the real results are mostly irrelevant to what you see on the screen before the final image.

Feel free to correct me if you found any mistakes and I will revise it in response. (PM would be preferred)

By the way @OP, doesn't DiceBot have an automatic provably fair verifier?

I think its really a good idea to the community and for those who are lazy or does not have the technical expertise to verify all the claims of the gambling site as it relates to the above two issues mentioned. However, how do we trust your service in that there are already several review sites and they tend to give the kind of assurance you are given but they have been found to write things that favor the gambling site in other to increase their revenue. How are we sure you won't be bought for the review by the time this site is getting the attention of enough population of the community.
