In addition to the obvious uses like smart contracts and dapps, I'm also using it for gaming, there are many gaming platforms that are based on ethereum and you can bet coins to win prize, so I have won some eth too, although I think I lost more haha, it has also served me more than anything else to buy other alts, now use it as a trading currency because it serves me to invest in alts or ICOs that I see promising.
I most times use eth for trading Erc20 tokens. Although I hold some ETH.

Ethereum, for most people just cryptocurrency for trading and exchange to fiat. I can compare ETH with USD on the classic market. At the same time Bitcoin could be compared with gold.

I used Ethereum because i believe on it and I hold Eth for a long term,Eth is one of the potential Altcoins in Cryptocurrency and it is very useful in any tokens transactions,and if I see a potential Altcoins I also used Eth to buy it.
I have used ETH to invest in a number of ICO projects, but so far I still have not received good value from it and will continue to hold the tokens I got from the relevant ICO. And some of the eth that I have will only be hold for a long time.
I mainly use mine to buy ICO coins but i also use my ethereum to trade, hold, whichever the market prefers and I am learning the how tos on creating a coin, so smart contracts as well!!!
I used to use it to buy altcoins on ICO but after I realized that there is no benefit in it I started just speculating on the air. Other applications for it I have not yet found
I use Ethereum most for buy and sell Token. I am not ethereum big fans, so I don't hold much of it. And also I usually use ethereum to transfer my balance from one exchange to another exchange because ethereum transaction faster and cheaper. And almost all exchange accept ethereum.
I rather utilize my ETH for long haul ventures in light of the fact that for me this is the most famous coin and I believe it's extremely a working stage now. i always believe ETH have a bright future to invest in longterm.
During the past few weeks, I have used ETH a couple of times to make payments for various services. But the attractiveness of ETH payments is going down, due to the ever increasing gas prices.
I use eth to save more from the withdrawal fee on exchanges , the withdrawal fee on btc is usually high so I need to convert to eth for withdrawal. I also use eth to convert to fiat money, before our local exchange accept only btc but now they accept eth deposit.

I am an ethereum holder. At first I intend to do daily trading with ethereum, but the longer the ethereum price actually decreases as the price of bitcoin decreases. finally now I decide to make a long-term investment with ethereum, hopefully the price gets better and gives me an advantage. Yes, basically eth is used for trading, buying, selling, and a good long term holding. Depending on the demand for buying or selling Ethereum, the price can fluctuate from day to day just like bitcoin and other crypto. This is similar to the manner in which the value of a stock or property can go up or down based on supply and demand.

I mainly use Ethereum for gas and token transfers. I hodl some for some profit gain while price are relatively low. I don't use it to buy on ICO since you can buy more token when bounty distribution began and the hunters dump their bouty tokens.
Usually I use ethereum for gas to send my token to the market, the majority of tokens need and gas to send our tokens from Mew, I also invest long term ethereum, though not too much but I hope someday the price of ethereum will be very expensive so I can get big profit
Mostly they use ETH for ICO project, however, this 2018 less ICO than so ETH is no longer hot than previously.

I am very fond of eth movement they are always stable and not too fluctuating tend to and I prefer to long term investment. The other part is holding them for a long time. I think that holding Ethereum for a long time is profitable because Ethereum can be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies.
