me i like to play chess it is a stragic game i enjoy it every time.
I think 99% of kids of new generation doesn't even know rules.
I used to play chess when I was younger but today it seems impossible to play it - only old(very old) folks are playing it while people of my age are spending their time on smartphones and playing stupid games or just reading facebook

My favorite board game is Risk. Really fun and you need to think strategic. Can go on for hours and set friendships on the line during the game.
I liked playing risk, haven't played it in a few years though.
Connect four is by far one of my favorite board games It's less complicated than chess yet a lot of strategy involved!

Monopoly and sea battle are two games that were hits of my childhood. In principle, everything is the same as now, because the crypto currency is the same monopoly.
My current favourite board game has to be 'Who knows where?' I absolutely love geography so it's the perfect game for me. I've only played it twice so far with my mum and her girlfriend, but I've had so much fun even if I don't know most of the trivia questions! I am at least good at the capitals. Well some of them. Scrabble is decent too but I suck at it. Mum always wins!
