The title says it all. Whats your favorite esports to bet on and why?

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

Honestly anything. Counterstrike: global operations, dota, StarCraft, lol . I'm not sure how the betting works though can anyone lead me in the right direction to make an informed decisions ? I know how the games work but probably not on the level I need to for competitive gaming. I would need to know what events sre most likely to happen and different times and why. Otherwise I am just wasting my money blindly gambling.

Its just like any other sports betting set up. Moneyline mean you're betting for a team to win. However, in csgo you can bet against the spread on how many rounds the team will win by.

As for Smite, try https://lp.betway.com/esports_5free. However, I can't vouch for them, as I haven't played there.
I checked this service and it seems that they don't have anything Smite related. At this moment their selection of esport titles consists of:

League of Legends - LPL Spring Split
League of Legends - LMS Spring Split
League of Legends - LCK Spring Split
Dota 2 - ESL One Genting
Starcraft 2 - WESG
Dota 2 - I-League
CS:GO - ESEA Global Challenge
CS:GO - Eleague Major

Im sick of those games to be honest. I can't stand League of Legends anymore, such an overrated game. Always with the same damn map, so boring. Dota 2 is also boring, and Starcraft 2 is just not was good as the original BW... CS:GO is too slow, I miss the fast paced duel FPS games like Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament.

Modern games are truly shit, im glad I stopped wasting time trying to get good to become a pro esports player.

Quake has a pro scene but I haven't seen any of the sportsbooks offer action on them.

I have no idea since I haven't checked in ages. I just did and theres this new Quake game announced called Quake Champions... but apparently it's going to be some sort of Overwatch type of bullshit. I think the ends of fast faced duel games are over.

I don't know what pro scene you talking about tho... apparently the only serious tournament that is still left is Quakecon itself, seems pretty dead to me. A scene that relies in online tournaments is not a pro scene.

Every esport relies on online tournaments. How do you think they fund offline events?

Yeah but from what I've researched the online tournaments for the Quake series are tiny, so it's useless. They have like 100 dollar price pots, it's a dead community, with those sort of prices you never get the big players. Most of the big Quake names moved to other games like Overwatch and CSGO. Quake is the best game but unfortunately.. money talks.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of players are moving to Overwatch from TF2, Quake, CSGO. Overwatch is going to be the most stable for players as far as income goes.

The question is about eSports, meaning online gaming, which you would have noticed if you had taken the time to read the first post.

League of legend and CS:GO. Both of them are my favorite games. I have played LOL for 4 years and CS:GO for 2 years. I never want to make a bet in any of games which I do not know anything about. This will absolutely make my money disappear

The title says it all. Whats your favorite esports to bet on and why?

It seems that almost everyone here has the same answer and I'm also one of them, my favorite is also Dota 2 since I'm an avid fan of it way back its earlier days.

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

Also CS Go is one on my pick, because one of my opponent when I was still on high school is now a professional CS GO player and I can't just believe that he really is.

My two favorite esports to bet on is dota 2 and cs:go. I only bet on them when there's a huge tournament going on or when tier 1 teams are playing because I heard on low tier teams there's some kind of match fixing involve. I'm starting to like sc2's competitive scene even though I don't play the game the strategies from the players are awesome to watch.

I used to bet on Dota2 in the past (item betting, not bookie bets), but since Valve is no longer supporting gambling, all sites I used to bet my items on are now closed.
Time to switch to real money betting I guess. The game I wanted to bet on is  Smite, but I rarely see any site where this game is included, it is always CsGo, Dota and LoL.

Smite isn't big enough for bookies to spend their resources on providing smite action. Same reason you won't find rocket league action. Although I do believe rocket league will be one of the esports to take off this year.

DOTA.
Because I play the game and understand the statistics.Secondly,it's fair.No trace of cheating in Globally Live Broadcasted Battles.Next up is CSGO for obvious reasons.

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.
The only problem is,they manipulate stuff at times. If the game doesn't represent a championship, bets can be favoured in the hands of less obvious wins.

Surprised no-one has said Starcraft 2, definitely the one I watch most and gamble on, but I guess it isn't as popular as those moba's.
I personally really like RTS games and Starcraft 2 makes for some really good gameplay to watch imo.
