To answer your question, it needs to be decided what is called religion.
The religion itself does not harm anyone, and the general ideas of all confessions are pretty similar.
Political beliefs, attitudes towards minorities or religious preferences should be considered as a personal right of everyone.

Religion binds us together and teach us values that are to be given importance to though there are some that ruin the essence of religion. Some people consider religion as something that is divided. Christianity, islam, buddhism and many more are against eachother because of how its members react. They offend eachother and eliminate those who opposses to the religion that they belong to. This is wrong and it must be changed.

Several elements like sacred, divinity, supernaturalism, holy, godly etc. come across when we are into religion. As a Christian, i will admit that the religion has gone through some brutal and dark times in the past, The Dark Ages is an example of this, With Islam it has become emroiled with violence just as Christianity used to be like, With Hinduism aside their followers being ready to kill anyone who eats cow everything is fine and with Buddhism its so peaceful and it's what most religion must be like, full of peace.

For me, religions make the world complicated more. Because of Religion there are people assuming for their beliefs to be more accurate than their opposing religions. But somehow, religions make other people afraid of doing wrong things.

My opinion on this subject is all the religions are completely loads of shit. Some people created these religions with their imagination under the influence of some drugs, herbs etc. in the past, and now they have millions of followers but their followers have not any clue about their religion is a total lie. This is the horrible fact for sure.
