Safe 30%-40% would be better than unstable 1000x in my book.
But everybody chooses what suits them, I can agree on that  Cool
The majority of the people out there do not want to wait to become rich, they want to obtain great riches without any effort and that is why they are willing to take such high risks, while a person that took the safe route of making 30% a year with cryptocurrencies will obtain 1000x profits in less than 27 years, and that is not taking into account you could invest more each year or earn a larger percentage, which could seriously accelerate your accumulation of wealth, besides if you invested a large amount from the beginning then you will not need such a ridiculously high growth and you could achieve your monetary goals in less than a decade.

I would say BTC is definitely my number one too, and I would go with top names, not going to risk it at all. ETH, BNB and SOL, these are top five already and I would be picking these four and I believe they will do fine because that's what they did so far. Historically speaking, these four did amazing so far and I do not have a reason to believe that what has been great so far will change and be bad suddenly, if they did great so far then I think they will keep doing better in the future as well.

Last one is a bit weird, it's LTC, litecoin, because I trust that and always liked it and I would go with that if I could, it's definitely a smart move when you think about how long it has sustained so far, shouldn't really be a trouble for it to keep going for another half a decade, if it went for over a decade without much issues, I do not see how it would fail at five years, it will probably do fine. But if you want to remove that with something, ADA is a decent looking one too.
This makes sense, it's definitely a good idea and we can see how that could work. I would say instead of LTC or ADA, most people would prefer DOGE, not saying you should too, nor should I, but the "meme" economy is a real thing and that is getting attention by a lot of people. Maybe putting just 10% to Doge should be fine, that way you wouldn't risk too much and even if it ever goes to zero one day, which I doubt it would, the others would recover the loss from that.

This is why adding at least Doge as a meme would be fine, could be profitable for most people and could make sense to a lot of investors all around the world. While I agree it's a meme, but at the same time it has a lot of people buying and liking it, so it makes sense.

2030 is too much down the line, I do not believe that we are going to end up with so much easy victory by guessing it now, I am not saying it's not possible, many people make guesses and assumptions and I am sure that many of them will figure that out, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a good guess each time.

Some people here, shared their ideas and that's great, you can literally write all of them down, every single person and their guess, and in year 2030, if this forum still exists which I hope it will, then you can come back here and write to everyone how right they were or wrong they were.

What would that achieve? Will they stop assuming or predicting? They will keep doing that no matter how wrong they are, or just because they were right on this one, doesn't mean they will also know 2035 as well, they could be right once, wrong afterwards, or wrong once and be right later on. All in all, 2030 is too far away, we are all just making up ideas, none of us really know anything.

Here are some of the top five altcoins that I know it will going to shine in 2030:
1 Ethereum is among the five top altcoins that will allow investors to grow income in the nearest future, because it has been maintaining first position among other altcoins to be among the top altcoins which it will still going to be among the five top altcoins in the nearest future.
2 Solana and dogecoin is another altcoins that will be among the five top altcoins in 2030, because they have displayed some positive results that allow those that sold their Solana and dogecoin few months ago to achieved huge amount of income from their investment, because they have confident on Solana and dogecoin which it will going to be among the five top altcoins in the nearest future.
3 XRP and BNB is another altcoins that showed good results for investors to experience huge amount of income from their investment which it will definitely going to be among the five top altcoins in the nearest future.

Can doge be called an alt though, or am I trippin'?
It's a memefather, for sure, but I never considered it an alt, no matter how big it is..

ETH, SOL, BNB, TON, SUI

ETH will remain the top altcoin because it's one of the biggest ecosystems, I don't know what will happen in the future there will probably be many new altcoins, this is what I know and it will not be displaced or there could be more than that.

ETH is the big guy in the eco sense, though SOL is climbing up there too, making their own L1 eco much better with a new validator client and much more to come, so there is that.

1. ETH
2. TON
3. ZRC
4. ZKsync
5. Ada
ETH would always be a great altcoin to keep in your portfolio so I choose it for #1.
For #2, another layer 1 coin could be a great addition, I think TON (or Sui, Aptos) should be on the list. I choose TON because it has real use case.
For #3,#4 I think about a Layer 2 coin for Ethereum. I choose ZRC and zkSync. zkSync is leading the Layer 2 solution now, and ZRC is new, AI-powered, and has a good community.
Another one could be ADA.
For #5, Ada is my favorite.

I will stick to the top ones and maybe only 4 of them because it's always been my priority to have bitcoin as my top pick.

1. BTC
2. ETH
3. BNB
4. dogs
5. TON

I don't have to explain that much with my picks because their names speak for itself. And as for my meme coin, dogs is what I just like to have for now.

You can see how the second largest coin ethereum has been. It is far from getting to all-time high right now. Also most of the coins are pumped, dumped, left for another new coins when they become old. I do not have investment plan for altcoins in long term.

Yeah, of course, BTC is the best. But you have to consider that if you invest $100 in BTC, even if it goes to $300K, you'll only have $300. However, if you invest $100 in tokens like BRETT, FLOKI, or PEPE when they have "8 zeros" and they lose 2-3 zeros, you could earn significantly more. If one of those memecoins loses 3 or more zeros... BOOM! millions.

Of course, BTC is safer, but unless you're investing a large amount right now, given its price, your earnings will likely be minimal.

Safe, but low.

If you are thinking that long term then you really have no alternative other than playing it safe and select the altcoins that are already the leaders of their respective niches, this is because if you were to try your luck by investing in a coin that is just being recently released, you have no way to know if the success that coin will get will be for the long term, and that is taking for granted the coin could succeed, that in a field with such a high failure rate is not really a given at all.

have you not see the sarcasm on that ? this means he will only trust bitcoin more than altcoins so in another 5-6 years , he will keep holding and accumulating bitcoin .

There's nothing wrong in trading only Bitcoin mate. Any one can decide to stick to what flavors them the most, so long you know how to manage your investment risk. For me personally, like I said I don't put much efforts into altcoins as I have past experiences with them and the only way I made profits was through spot trading. Aside that, holding altcoins sometimes puts your funds a high potential risk and if one is not careful, might end up losing them in just one bear season. I remembered buying an altcoin back then, which was actually in profits for about 2 months then I decided to take the risk and hold longer, unfortunately I came back to meet that the project got rugged and coins had no value. So we just need to know what we are putting our money into.

Lol, BTC is not altcoins and never will be.. a lot of investors when we mention cryptocurrency the first thing that comes to their mind is Bitcoin, making it even more popular. I only have stable coins along side Bitcoins and I don't also think I'll be buying to hodl any altcoins soon or in the future. Except I have to use them for fee or something. For now some altcoins have been in their bull season due to the strong bullish momentum of Bitcoin.

Yes, I think these five altcoins will be the prima donnas in 2030, because looking at the price developments of the five coins above, it looks increasingly good for investors who want to invest now, but for some reason BTC is still the prima donna of all the existing coins and it is very difficult to shift it. Most investors still view BTC as a profitable asset in the future or in 2030.

There is no guarantee to trust my speculation about Altcoin that may still exist in 2023, but there is an interesting thing that we can see in terms of more transparent and sophisticated future needs of Altcoin.
1. DOGE
2. Solana
3. XRP
4. FET
5. Ton
5 This coin has a very good attraction in my eyes today, because with its uniqueness I think it will provide a great opportunity to increase profits, without any problems and their developers really achieve their goals in disciplining vision and mission to provide broad benefits In the future, but for me personally I am more involved with coins that have AI narratives, this is far more possible for 2030.

Probably you are out of your substance I guess. I do not think my post should be so hard for you to easily decipher. It is simply an indirect means of saying I do not have any altcoins to go for. Especially when many of them have increased in price. Altcoins are not easy to predict like bitcoin. Also altcoins bear market may start before bitcoin bear market which could result to a huge loss for many people. Those that made profit already are indeed lucky but they should be careful and sell before it is too late. Probably I can have a change of mind in 2026/2027.

Even though Bitcoin is not an altcoin, it is still nice to know that it is already capable of replicating some of those features that we think only possible in the altcoins before such as minting an NFT, smart contract capability, etc... This makes it more reliable than ever.

Altcoins are already there and it is inappropriate if we will just remove them immediately only because of the new version of Bitcoin and as we can see, altcoins still have some nice value's which indicates that many people are used to them already. Bitcoin being the first crypto, making it recognized by the public but there are newer cryptos that are being hyped up and people who are also new in cryptos will hear about them first before Bitcoin.

As we can see, they still have some contribution in the crypto space (which is great), not that they will only come here for the benefits. The stable coins you have there are still part of an altcoin and it's better to already have some altcoins for use with your stable coin to avoid further hassle.

Ethereum investors think that why it is not rising right now is that it is garbage. Right now, all eyes are on Bitcoin, so the money inflow is only coming from Bitcoin, and that is what it should be.
But Ethereum will have its turn, wasn't it similar in the last bull season, am I remembering it wrong?
You can open the chart and look, or you know, when Bitcoin started to rise, Ethereum remained stagnant again, then after 3-4 months, its volume and price started to increase.

You’re absolutely right—memecoins have an uncanny ability to tap into the zeitgeist and transform fleeting moments into speculative markets. Their success lies in the perfect storm of humor, cultural relevance, and virality. The stories behind them, whether they’re about a raccoon named FRED or a squirrel-inspired PNUT, are what make them so engaging.

These coins are like internet inside jokes with a price tag, and their value is often more about the narrative than any real utility. That’s part of their charm and also their risk—people are essentially betting on how long the meme can stay funny and relevant. It’s almost a meta-commentary on the internet age itself, where attention and memes are as much currency as money.

As for people making millions off these narratives, it speaks to a larger phenomenon: the blending of entertainment, culture, and speculative investing. But it's also worth noting that while some laugh all the way to the bank, others end up on the losing side of the joke when the hype fades. So, while it’s hilarious and fascinating, it’s also a reminder to approach memecoins with caution—and maybe a sense of humor.
