For me top coins for now is - BTC // ETH // Qtum // Tenx.
The top must have coins according to me are ethereum, monero, litecoin, civic and Bitcoin. All these coins are unique in their own way and can help you earn great profits in long run.
Hello everyone, i'm just wondering what are your top "must have" coins that you think everyone should have? (for long term especially)
Well, i have a couple that I actually like or as we can say, my favorites.
Here they are : BTC, BCH, NEO, ETH, WAVES, RIPPLE, and BAT.
I have chosen this coins because they all have great potentials and great platforms. Which what an investor would really want to see into a coin that he wants to invest in. But i am also considering to invest on some other coins like: EOS, XMR, GNT, WAVES, NEM, and XVG. But only if they are still looking good by the time i get enough investment funds.
My top must have coins is PATIENTORY the coins that help healthcare blockchain. I might be so happy right now because of what happened yesterday, it pump 30% up and my portfolio came boooming
For me it is Eth, BTC and Waves. I can't help but buying altcoins with my btc and I need to sell those and just hold on to btc.

Btc 50% of investment (can up to 20x within 3-5 year)
(dash,zcash,eth,neo,etc,ltc) 30% of investment (can up to 5x within year or less)
doge 5% of investment (doge will increase its price more than 10x)
15% to daily trading and other altcoins
BTC, LTC, ETH -- These are the bluechips (except they have much better return than regular stock bluechips)
OMG, TenX -- I find most altcoins to be a gamble. I'm gambling on these.

Ripple, Waves, BAT. These are just some of the coins that I think you must have, I mean they may plunge for a while but I can take it without flinching. I am looking at the far future for these coins. The are still a lot out there though. Many coins are actually doing great in their road maps, to be fair. It is good for the entire crypto market.
if must choose one, it shall be btc, the base of cryptocurrency and shall be the king for a long time, if only one coin can survive, it must be btc

Most of the top 10 are must haves. They are like the Blue Chip stocks of the crypto world. I would also have a small investment in all of the crypto platforms like Ark, stratis, neo, omg, nem, waves because I feel those will all go up very nicely once more coins begin to be branched off them!
I've only been in the game for 8ish months but have had great success with my current picks.

Lykke

My list includes mainly older coins and older ico coins:
Eth is ok but overpriced at the moment imo.

Must have coins for me are ARK, Viacoin and DENT. The last one is risky, but have a great idea behind it
