The mining board is the most heavily moderated board on Bitcointalk. You are not the first who complained about post deletions because many users have said that the assigned mods over there are too strict. On one hand, they have the right to moderate the section however they see fit, but on the other, it can be a big turn off for users if they feel they are getting rejected when they want to discuss a mining topic that interests them. ASIC-specific discussions are allowed there. Anything related to GPU will likely get thrashed or moved to Altcoins.

Having said that, your thread wasn't really that useful. It mentions only your hash rate and lacks all sorts of information that you could have added to make it more interesting to read.

Well in the "mining section" hashrate is very important isn't it?

If you want to discuss hash rate in general and its global evolution there is a topic about it:
2021, time for a new general & diff speculation thread...

If you want to show how you're managing your 300TH/s and exchange ideas you can do like the others are doing:

Introduction - my small operation and photos
My first mining project / mini-farm
Small Mining farm
and many more

Throwing a one-liner as a starting post in the mining section is not the way of doing it, it will be much like a topic in this board on how many bitcoins one has.

Thank you for the reply.  I'll do it better next time.

I posted on the mining/mining speculation board and a mod removed my post.

I assume this was your post:

Hello,
I'm just a little home miner and I'm curious what the hash rates some of you other "home miners" are hashing at.  Currently I'm hashing at 390.5 (or so) TH/s.
Cheers, Andy

I kind of agree with the moderators here, what is there to discuss how much hash rate each miner has? Besides you haven't given any extra info, what miners you use, what you use for cooling, maybe your electricity price, no wonder you got frodoed.
If you want to make a topic of your setup you can do that in the main board but a simple bragging contest has little to add in value.

Both here in this section and the mining sections should probably be fine. While I'm not sure because I haven't seen your thread, there's a chance that your thread got deleted due to the lack of quality. Was your topic constructive enough and not something too generic like "what is hash rate"?

Maybe it was.  I don't know and I'm new here so still learning all of the dos and don'ts.  I'm a home miner and I gave everyone my total hash rate and was asking what others total BTC hash rates were for comparison purposes.  Maybe because I ended the thread by signing my name?  I don't know.
