Klondike and possibly the Bonanza... we shall see what the 55nm Avalon can do. Stoked! Grin

Right now it's more like OK Corral, but no one is firing yet Smiley

(hum, save for AM)

I will invest in the open source ones for sure, so Klondike, done, waiting on Bitfury.

BFL have buried themselves so deep, it'll be a small miracle they survive, waiting for volume deliveries.
KNCMINER strike me as liars, or very unprofessional to the least, so I'll wait to see how they function past the preorders' circus
AM will wait for the shares to come down in price (might never happen...), blades are priced too high for now (not even considering the USB one).
Bitmine is a maybe but they depend on Avalon and haven't showed additional worth yet (wrt Klondike, for ex.)

Wait till you can get ASIC at WalMart on black friday..  then you'll finally be happy

Hoping you're talking about Black Friday *this year*. I'll take two of each in a gift wrap. Thank you, and keep the dust. Smiley

Similar to others: diversification

AM, Avalon, BFL - with more resources buy from the one who puts out the best product readily available to the consumer.

I am currently mining with BFL FPGAs, asicminer USBs, and a GPU farm. I have BFL asic singles on pre-order.
Mining and holding has already been profitable enough for me to quit my stupid job, and when my BFL singles finally arrive, I'm gonna party like a rock star.

BFL, Avalon, AsicMiner both hardware and as an investment.  Will certainly entertain purchases from other companies when they actually start shipping product.  Bitcoin difficulty is spiking so any sort of investment today that gets delayed can run the risk of being a loss if not careful.  Also, competition should force manufacturers to lower prices.

That said, it may be easier to stop mining and sell products for Bitcoin or possibly other cryptocurrencies.  Selling a service or product could reward with more bitcoins/cash than mining with much less risk.  It all depends on the value and difficulty of bitcoin going forward.  With the value going down and the difficulty going up, mining is looking less attractive every day.

I'm going to put my bet on KNC miner. They might outrun BFL and Avalons Grin Somehow I have the feeling that there will be huge delay in those avalon chips...
And Batch 3 won't be out before september (august at best)... So... There is a change that KNC might outrun. If they do deliver as promised september 2013 and not some pathetic 2-3 devices, but in bulk for everyone, they will be heros here. If they don't, they will be hated just as BFL or Avalon. So far, smartest one is AsicMiner

cool i am also counting them

I have orders wi Avalon, BFL, Bitaxe.ca, KNC and Bitfury. Diversification FTW

Avalon, KNC, Bitaxe, ASICMINER seem like good candidates.  BFL seems only good for a Jalepeno at this time?

I missed the early boat (insufficient BTC in hand for even the 10 chip group-buys), but I may take a punt on BitFury. Let's see how they test out in the next few days.

I have a 7 Gh/s BFL, AMC shares, TAT.ASICMINER shares, TAT.VIRTUALMINE shares and a 2.8 Gh/s share of a Jupiter. Why put all your eggs in one basket?

I will back whoever can ship on time and in an orderly fashion which means only ASICminer.
Others are running blind now...
