hi there, is there a wallet like bitensure that gives users interest when they deposit funds?
or are there any altcoins alike?

Do they work like a bank?  Because banks loan out our deposits and get profit via interest out of them.  Then they give you miniscule interest for your deposit.

Out of the major exchanges, Bter used to offer interest for deposits. You had to log in once per day to claim it though. Not sure if they still offer this anymore after their major hack which happened earlier this year.

As for altcoins, there is an altcoin called BitShares which has market-pegged assets. They're not actually backed by the asset that they represent but instead, they use a complicated mechanism to keep their prices reasonably close. It has worked pretty well so far. One of these assets is bitBTC. There are a few others such as bitUSD and bitGOLD. These can earn interest while reducing the risk of being goxed since the assets aren't kept on a centralize exchange:

Quote
"If you own BitBTC you can earn dividends on your bitcoins," said Larimer. "If you have a thousand bitcoins and you convert them to BitBTC, and then you hold it for six months, then you convert the BitBTC plus the dividends you received back to bitcoins, you’ll end up with more bitcoins than you started with."

You can see all of them here:

Cryptsy paying some small amounts as balance rebates after your BTC, LTC, XRP, and USD holdings. More info here (on the bottom of the page):

Cryptsy is totally not worth it. The amount they are willing to give is so small that you can consider it dust.

I would avoid cryptsy as they have recently been working with promoting the Paycoin scam and taking over at least one "Prime controller".

A wallet that promises interest once you deposit bitcoin to it is probably a ponzi scheme. Stay away from these wallets that promise X return, they will probably take your bitcoin and run away with them.

some of them are not ponzi, but you need to lock your balance for 1 year or more, meanwhile bitcoin ccould skyrocket or die, so in the end they are risky even if they are legit
Still to risky for me, there are no legit wallets than promise interests yet. Most of them will probably disappear after a month.

Any business that guarantees a return with any cryptocurrency represents a fraud. Cryptocurrencies represent extremely high risk and volatile investments at the moment.

ok sorry, i was just looking for investments

You can try lending some of your BTC on BTCJam.com
Then get some interest on it.
