For me, there could be some participants of the bounty that can give feedback on the project and the could first receiver of their feedback is the bounty manager.
And that's the time that the bounty manager can bring it up to the team of the project they are advertising.
The feedback could be a positive one or negative and now it's up to the team how they can handle it.

Everything would really be depending on the project itself since they are the ones who do set;

1. Budget
2. What marketing should be done

Managers would really make out adjustment with that and tell up recommendations and suggestions and calculations on how much the team
would really be charged from campaign payment upto his own professional fees on handling the bounty.

I dont know on why it is bothering you since these things could be known in between manager and the project itself.

Depends on how successful their marketing strategy is, the manager can hire many people as long as there is a budget and those people will help the business on marketing the platform. Its hard to predict the numbers, you can just know this based on the registration of new accounts.

I don't think that it is the task of the bounty manager to recruit as many participants as possible. If it is a altcoinbounty then the team behind the project that offers the bounty is primarily responsible for that task because first of all their projects needs to be worth investing the time for the value of tokens that you get. If it is just the 10001th meme-coin that is doing a bounty then i would guess that not a lot of people want to join their campaign anyway. The job of a bounty manager is to make sure that everyone that is part of the bounty does what needs to be done and that there are no cheaters and no duplicate accounts or stuff like that.

Bounty manager is just a person to manage the bounty participants so they don't cheat and get stakes based on what they have done so far, nothing more than that.

As far as I know, they probably discussed with the team about how much participants they want to hire for campaigns, some of the campaigns limit their participants and the rest are not. But the actual impact of this campaign to the actual progress of project is still yet vague for me considering all of the projects lead to the same end anyway.

They manage the entire campaign and bounties that they've assigned for. Just like what an actual manager in restaurant, they're the ones who are monitoring the operations.

So, that's the same with the bounties, they're monitoring the operations through the participants. They do add a lot of help to a project and that's why bounty hunting became popular.

If the bounty manager has a good reputation, more people will be attracted to participate in that campaign and it will aid the project to be promoted better than if the bounty manager does not have a good reputation.

As for the hunters, the reputation manager will research and check the quality of the project before they accept to run the bounty program for that project. This will give the hunter a chance to receive a reward and the reward will sometimes be worth the work they do.

They will just manage the members in this forum so that everything will go smooth and that includes listing in a data sheet their week run.

Well spoken. These days a lot of projects are using gleam because it manages the bounty program for you. Although some others, like Candle Chain for example, are manually managing their bounty campaigns using google forms. I think it all depends on the complexity of the bounty. The CNDL bounty involves beta testing a DEX, so that is probably too hard for gleam to verify.

It is not the job of a bounty manager to "bring" in participants. That is upto the decision of the participants free will. What happens is that when a manager becomes popular, they get a followership from a number of bounty participants, but by no means that gives a fixed number as to how many participants are going to join that bounty.

I am reminded of the days when hoards of alt-accounts would join in bounties often orchestrated by the manager itself, but these things have reduced now due to the strict merit system.

To be honest, if you are going to run a bounty for your own project, escrow the money and contact a reputed manager, you will get participants - the scent of free money is irresistible for them. Roll Eyes

Depending on how highly qualified and trusted the bm is, he/she can bring a large number of participants from different ranks because of his/her reputation. to know the exact number is not possible because the forum has a lot of users anyone can decided to join provided there is no limit to the number of participants, requirements and the campaigns available.

Bounty Manager has there own reputation which means the project they are managing undergo to there thorough inspection to guarantee the quality of the project that they will gonna help on promotion. Having a reputable Bounty Manager will give many user assurance that they will be paid for there work which means more participants is joining to the bounty campaign they are managing compared to the other bounty campaign that managed by mediocre campaign manager.

There’s still a lot of good benefits that bounty manager can bring to the project since most of them has there own group of bounty participants that’s loyal on joining to there campaigns.

It doesn't matter how many members will come to the project. I do believe if that must be around a few thousands of users with possibility to get legit community members as well. The main purpose of bounty was for the marketing and that means if that being used to make the project to gain more popularity and members. There are bunch of successful projects that have been running legit bounties like aave, CRO and many more.
I think that if the bounty manager has much bigger community and followers and that means the chance to bring thousands of people to join or follow the project is possible.

They don't need how many members it is, but if there's a one member who want to invest in their project for $1,000,000,000 it's far than enough. Of course after this huge investment, the CEO have two decision either make his project bigger and widely or he will run with investors money.

I don't think bounty program want to attract community members who're a bounty hunters, because many projects blame to the hunters when the price suddenly drop after his bounty has successfully distributed.
