Friends, I read a bunch of predictions on the market, haters rubbing their hands say that this is the end of Bitcoin and crypto.

just because the price is falling does not mean that it is the end of bitcoin, bitcoin could be worth  $1 and even then it would not be its end, but people should be realistic and should not live with high expectations as if price would increase all days and a day of that would be millions of dollars per bitcoins, because that will not happen. We have a price of  $4000 and this is a lot and can rise if have more demand, there is no reason to be desperate and think that is the end of bitcoin

More positive people say: use and buy, decline is the best time to buy Bitcoin, as soon as it nevertheless reaches the bottom, it will grow even stronger

I do not know about the bottom, but I agree with the rest of things.

some like McAfee say calm down and just relax, and Ilon is going to Mars.

The market is not in dieying stage and up and down is the cycle of this market.  Trading is very risky and that is why those that are in the market are crying because the market keep going down for the past eleven months.  We just need to have another bullish trend that will create surprise and that may happen next year.

Does the market even need saving? I mean, yeah a couple of positive news could be a big help but we're likely just under a phase and eventually it will correct itself on it's own. Crypto is still very young and steep drops like this happen, same way as sudden price pumps.

just let it fall as it has to be like that.
nothing can go up forever.
the higher it gets, the lower bottom is.
it's still going like every other market did

I think a trust can save the market, now so many users are panicking and because of their fear of selling low. I don't think this is over and as time goes on, trust will be strong again, and many will adopt cryptocurrency.

There is no bad situation here, it is just the market doing its thing during a downtrend, which was imminent before it even started anyway. However, this is a good thing for those who are wise enough to want to be a part of the future. I know some may be a bit skeptical at the way things are today and relating to when they bought, but anyone who is disappointed and does not see anything good in the downtrend, is either not seeing the bigger picture.

The market does not require saving, it is a season and it will come and go naturally. It is not like the market is dead or close to dying to be looking for something to get it saved.

A lot more interest. Not like the interest we have right now but probably 10 times that size.
We need all those 2017 noobs back in the market. Right now, our biggest problem is the lack of volume and trading and because of that rich people decide what the price will be like.

If you have enough money you can buy bitcoin by the bulk at 10 thousand bitcoins at once and keep doing that daily for a week and at the end of it the price will be a lot higher and you will be capable of selling that slowly (like 500 bitcoin a day) until you make a profit.

It is a time consuming idea but unless something bad happens you will profit like crazy. Or if you want to you can spend 10 thousand bitcoins on shorting bitcoin price and another 10 thousand bitcoin to sell and the price will go down like crazy making you more money than you lost from short.

Basically rich are getting richer with this market, we need more people to stop that, if 10 people can trade as much as 10000 noobs, we need 10001 noobs.

What will save Bitcoin is the continuity of the work that has been done so far. I think there is nothing to change about it, slowly more people learn about Crypto-Currency, develop more projects related to it, adoption and propaganda increases in different sectors. Meanwhile speculators make their profit, play with the markert, but the solid work is being done on the backstage, and this work's results is the prosperity of Crypto-Currency, on long term.

There is no need to save the cryptocurrency market, the price of most coins went down for lack of demand and the price will go up when that demand increases and that is not going to happen until bitcoin gets improved by the developers, something that is already in a very advanced progress and we can expect good results during the next years.

the only savior is investor trust, buy bitcoin now and not sell at a low price. it will help bitcoin and can make market conditions recover faster.

This!..,  plus global adoption, technology development, implementation of instant transaction that can compete or  even surpass leading money processor and what else??  Government acceptance, being recognized by the government will strengthen the foothold of cryptocurrency market and participation of several financial institution.  That I think may save and maintain the cryptocurrency market.

"end of bitcoin" is just some nonsense FUD that newbie FUDsters are trying to feed the other newbies.

as for what can "save" the market, the answer is only time!
like any bubble, reverse bubbles are also unstable and need to be corrected. and they always set the market back a couple of months just like $20k bubble set the rise back about 8-9 months this reverse-bubble at $3k level is doing the same and price needs to first correct up back to $6k-$7k before the  confidence comes back and the rise to start.
Lol. Isn't it funny how a lot of newbies now have created a lot of FUD and they seems to be very knowledgeable about the price movement. I suspect that this is not just a newbie but alts of someone we may have known in the past creating a lot of FUD as well. They need a new disguise to create lots of panic for the next breed of newbies entering the cryptoverse. Regarding the OP's questions, if we have bottom at $3k then obviously there's no more selling pressure and probably we will see the bulls taking over this market again.

Complete capitulation from the retail investor will signal to the whales that they've pushed as far as they can this cycle, and then the price will go up again.
Good point! Cryptocurrency market just like other mature markets do not need specific savior. The law of supply and demand will take care about cryptocurrency market just like always.

People just look at the current situation as downfall because some of them are used to be blinded by the hype that 2017 bring. Asked those people who already in crypto for several years and they have a different sentiment although some of them are already on loss.

If you have a strong view about bitcoin, then stick on it. If you want to remained positive, then stick on it. If you want to be negative, it's up to you. You know you will just be more doubtful and confused if you can't handle what you read on the internet.

End of bitcoin? Let's wait for bitcoin price to become $1 and that's the end.

The market is not in need of saving. If you look back just 2 years (a very short term ago) the market has grown immeasurably since then. If you look back 10 years to bitcoin's creation then no one could have predicted this. Crypto is going strong when considering the overall trend, 1 bad year doesn't change that.

Nothing will "save" the cryptocurrency market. Time is all the market needs to recover.

From the 2015 bottom to the 2017 top, price rise more than 128x. That was nearly three years of bull market. Nobody should expect the correction to run its course so quickly, in less than a year. Long term investors should be grateful there's more time to accumulate at cheaper prices.

Of course the situation is really bad, we are down what? 70%-80% from previous all-time-high? What will save the market? I guess nothing? This market is on a cycle, we might be at the late bear cycle, meaning is sellers or the bears are exhaustive then sooner or later the market will pump again to start a new cycle.

Bitcoin price dropped 80% before, do you think that it will survive if it continues to drop? I do have faith that time will come again that bitcoin price will come back up, and even double, but the question is when and how it will happen? It seems that market down is not enough for people to start using bitcoin. Is it possible this is the furthest bitcoin can go?
