There are many many things you can do to help your community grow and improve. For example, if you take this community, you can share your experiences and knowledge regarding bitcoin and alt-coins, or even just broader trading experience. In terms of your local community there are often many community schemes to help the elderly or disadvantaged. Personally I worked a few months ago with the community to renovate a plot of land that was unkempt and made it in to a beautiful garden.
