BIASED in some cases! a puppet of  COJUANCO-AQUINO family, proctecting those politicians that feeding them secretly! one of the most corrupt agency of the governtment. CHR are used to hide some great cases and to change the news when their ally is in the hot seat facing the case .. it is easy to plant a great news just to give anohter way for the people.. example DE LIMA in jail now, Aquino will face case. now this is gonna happen they wwill plant skalawags on a legitimate police operation then will kill a people brutaly nowadays they will choose teenager to get more noise and attraction then the CHR will enter the NEWS WORLD WIDE!!

On your opinion

I think in my opinion the chr here in the Philippines ir currently doing their job on the limits of their budget and the mandate that is being given to them by the President. It annoys me that a deartment cannot do their job just because of being a naysayer but  that is the truth.

Based on my opinion CHR  on the Phillipines are such a dick. They only move when the criminals/drug addicts/pusher are being killed and they are protecting their right but how about the innocent victims who are being killed and raped tl? Thay are just neglected of their rights and chr doeant do anything about it. It is right that Chr budgets is on 1k php for their unjust action.

The original proposal of the Philippine CHR’s 2018 budged amounted to 678 million Philippine Pesos ($13 million), which was less than their budget last year. While the Senate finance committee already approved the 678 million Philippine Peso proposal, the House of Representatives opted to contradict their wishes by reducing the amount even further. 1,000 pesos ( $20 ) is there budget now !! this is too much but i certainly agree on a part of it.. the chairman should resign and some high rank officials to open the new CHR as more loving to society and not just paid bots that will destroy government plans.

They are protecting the rights of criminals. Maybe Duterte could abolished that department and create a more effective human rights department that would really advocate on the rights of the Filipino people.

Terrorists and drug dealers forfeit their rights for humane treatment, when they indulge in crimes. The human rights department must be made aware of this. If they don't agree with this, then they should be fired.

Department of human rights is the one that protecting the people from different violence that can happen. They are doing good, because if some person put in a massacre for example, they will not stop to catch the suspect so he can be punished. All the department in the Philippines is working and doing their job properly.

On your opinion
In my opinion, Commision of Human Rights of the Philippines sucks , why? the head of that commision is playing politics ( one of example of this is the last meeting in Geneva that happened last May ) and he focus only in destroying the image of the current administration.

These people i think are really against what the current government is doing. And i think they're playing double standards here. Everyone knows that mr. Duterte is bent on ending the drug problem and with that will come a lot of bloodied bodies. I think it's their job to look inti these extra judicial killigs but it has been ongoing way before even duterte went to power.

Just to correct it is Commission on Human Rights, CHR sucks every time I hear them protecting criminals and blaming the police because they have killed criminals instead protecting and giving the justice to the victims. I am glad that House Speaker Alvarez wants to give them zero budget.

The chr in the philippines in my opinion is doing their job on the best of their abilities. However what i think is stoppig them is that they are basically wanting to
Investigate the president and that poses several problems and intricacies that makes their job harder.

Human rights in the Philippines is crap, that agency is just for the criminals and not for the victims.
And I had watched the news that the director/secretary of that department is even asking for 1 billion pesos for their budget for the next year?
But the presidents cabinet says 0 budget for them  Grin nice revenge.

This is the problem with the human rights agencies around the world. They are only concerned about the human rights of the criminals and the terrorists. They believe that the victims of these criminals and the terrorists doesn't have any human rights.

I feel sorry for the Filipino's as the criminals and corrupt politicians on their country are being protected by these no use human rights agencies. I don't know if this is such a kind of mafia or organizations around the world.

The Commission on Human Rights is an independent office created under the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines, with the primary function of investigating all forms of human rights violations involving civil and political rights in the Philippines. The Commission is composed of a Chairperson and four members.
The values and objectives of CHR is good for human being but it depends upon the motives of people who's handling this commission and sometimes this issue is global not only in the Phil.

CHR was created for a great cause.
their task will really benefit those who are victims of violence committed by government, especially those who are less fortunate.
CHR is for absolute good and not just for the benefit of the few.
.
The problem is not the CHR itself but the people who are in it.
We may now say that there is an abuse on the power granted to them through human rights commission.
As long as there are people who prioritizes their personal motives rather than the welfare of the public, then no matter how beautiful is the endeavor of the organization it will still be in vain because of these corrupt few.

While my guitar gently weeps!!!
Seriously, President Duterte can't just abolish the CHR... It will take him years before he can do that... Does anyone think that CHR is part of Philippine Constitution? Now, if he wants to abolish this government entity, then he has to ratify the constitution and remove the Article III which is the bill of rights, in which will also remove the freedom of its people to talk against the government...

Based on the law and the constitution, Commission on Human Rights  is responsible to protect the Filipino people from abusive government officials. That's why CHR is against the current administration because they doing the Extra-Judicial killings. News outles are showing evidences that will prove the existence of EJK.
Oplan Tokhang is good, asking drug users to surrender and do the rehab.

A person is innocent unless he/she will charged criminal offense that is against the law. Everyone deserves due process. CHR was created after the bloody Marcos regime.

Idk why President hates the CHR so much that he wants the budget of CHR to be "zero"

I heard about the budget shenanigans. It's like this administration is hell-bent on silencing any criticism. The president threatened to abolish it, then backtracked and said it was just a joke. It can't be abolished because it, along with the election and civil service commissions, has been set up to be independent of any government branch.

Human rights protects us from those oppressive people, but at the same time protects people on their bad and inhumane acts upon those innocent people, when it comes on judgement.

They're not protecting criminals, they just want the police to follow the legal process and for the government to do something about all the killings that is happening now.

In our city for example, pretty much most of the homeowner's association presidents has been killed or had an assassination attempt.
No wonder people here are coming up with various theories why these are happening.

Of course the more callous ones would just say that the victim must have done something. A few though are worrying that this is an attempt to stop the process of awarding us our land and that these groups are riding the "vigilante" wave so that people wouldn't care about all the murders.

on my own opinion the department of human rights in the philippines is protecting all the criminals and not the victims , because they are against the current administration ,everytime that the government killed a criminal the department of human rights defended them , on my own opinion i think the current administration do not need the help of the department..
