Topic: What coin is best to mine for CPU? (Read 3940 times)
I have a Dell laptop with a 1.4GHz Pentium M processor. I've heard that this is about as powerful as a 2-2.5 GHz Pentium 4. The graphics card is integrated so I'm guessing its pretty much useless for GPU mining. Can I mine any CPU coins with this?

Anyone knows what's the current most profitable CPU ONLY coin to mine on? I tried several but they all seem to be similar in terms of profitability.
I tried WDC , SRC , YAC , FZ , YAC - yac was great but since cryptsy dumped it for some reason I stopped mining it , I wish it comes back though...
Any suggestions? I got a few i7 rigs waiting to mine

Now I changed to Frozen.
I have been looking everywhere for which CU coin to mine finally,
I figure i would just test 5-6 myself and post the results.

I got a few i7 rigs, and I am mining Quark.
From all the quark clones my favorite is frozen, just because of the recent community takeover.
More people care about the coin now, thats a good thing.

Dimecoin will get into Cryptsy in couple weeks, you will see.
Try Bernankoin (BEK) which have very low diff and you will get very big number of coins each day.
Easier but not with a real value...until now. I've mined it and my rate was about 30 000 BEK per hour
Do you have any news if BEK will reach an exchange ?
