if by "follow the path of bitcoin" you mean getting as big as bitcoin like even above $10-$20 and then $600 i gotta tell you stop dreaming for the current available coins.
there may come a day in 5-10 years from now that a new altcoin is coded that beats bitcoin or gets as big as it but not today my friend.
