Now profitable Triple mining
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61299166
But in order for you to have a profit, you need to do everything yourself and have low electricity prices. In other cases, I would buy coins and not sell it. And you need cheap video cards.

Guys I think kaspa should be more profitable right now for GPU miners, the volume is up 80% since the last 24hours and the price is back to 0.006$ from 0.001$ from a month ago, if anyone have been mining this coin since a month ago well they are up 6x right now. Good luck.

price up 6x but it can't say this coin have profit

but who know maybe in couple year kaspa can go up 30-50x

6x is not a good value when the base price was that low from 0.001 to 0.006 is not relevant unless you could have mined a lot of such coins through one month of mining, for example to have mined 10.000 of them which would of course make a difference in the dollar value, even that is not much it is just 50 dollars profit.

Right now nothing is profitable so people should only mine the coins that they think it will skyrocket in price in the future, for example if you think Kaspa to do so you should mine it and if I think another coin will perform better I should mine that other coin, there cannot be definite advice in this time, later we can see but right now just mine what you are hopeful it will skyrocket in price.

Yes, the situation is pretty sad right now. I have 8x 3080s (non-LHR) and I am mining ETHW these days. I have free electricity but it still sucks because the profits from mining are so low at the moment.

Asic miners are profitable but GPU mining isn't, if you have any money you want to invest in mining go for BTC Asic miners, what happened to Ethereum can never happen to BTC so you will have peace of mind mining nonstop.

For what it's worth, I switched some of my GPUs over to mining ETC yesterday.  It is finally cool enough where I live that I don't need to air condition my home to stay cool, I can just open a window.  That, along with lower seasonal electricity rates are once again making some of my newer GPUs profitable when mining ETC.  Pretty amazing that we're smack in the middle of the bear market and it's still possible to make money just by running your computer.  While profitability is nowhere near what it was at the top, it's not too far off from when I was mining back in 2011.  I think back then a new video card was making about $1/day (which was about 0.5 BTC) and now one is making about $0.50 profit (much less than 0.5 BTC).  I think this shows that from here on out, the bear markets won't be as horrifying and the bull markets will probably not be so moon-worthy.  For those looking to tip toe into crypto, now is a good time in my opinion.  Especially if you have a newer GPU and live somewhere cold.

Recently stop mining because is no longer profitable and came back here and maybe there is a new mineable coins are profitable to mine with nVidia GPU's?

ETH is already removed from the list because it's switching to POS.

Do you recommend any for 0.17kw/h electricity cost?

At that energy price which ever coin you choose to mine you will be in negative. The only reason to mine with that electricity cost is to believe in the future,I am doing so as I am mining now some coins not normally mineable but I use the unmineable miner,I am mining a lot of SHIBA INU per day, sometimes I switch to Litecoin depending on my needs,I don't expect any return now,I prefer to mine the coin for the next bull run and I don't like spending money to buy the coins,I prefer to pay the energy bill and get several coins of low value mostly and hope for the best.

If you are obsessed with ETH moving from PoS,there is good news,ETHW (Eth Pow) is still continuing and it is very low in price but also low in difficulty meaning you can accumulate much of this coin if you believe in this road by mining it.
You are mining Shiba inu at a big loss, I suspect you are using unminable platform right? That website will suck your profit up, if you can do some calculations you will see that mining CuckooCycle (Aeternity) is more profitable, swap your AE to Shiba inu you will end up with more pieces of the token.
I think he is talking about mining on ASICs, and not about mining on video cards.

hard to mine with profit like ETH (before merge)

i think miner have 2 choices if you electricity not free or very low

1.sell gpu and keep that money(or buy some coin you like)

2.mine with loss pay electricity bill hope you coin price will go up like ETH and wait for next bull run
Have you tried to sell the video card now?
The price will be so low that it makes no sense. It is better to save the video card until the next mining season.
Why mine at a loss if you can buy cryptocurrency with this money and not turn on video cards?

yes i sell my 3070 gpu i buy form dec2020-feb2021 to gamer i buy around 549 usd and sell it around 300 usd and keep this money for buy new card with new 3 year warranty or buy some coin

because i think when new rtx card 4070-4080 coming and mining not profit yet it hard to sell in this price

this is only my opinion i know if other buy card in this year don't think like this because gpu price is skyrocket to the moon
RTX 3070 is an excellent video card that has shown itself very well in mining. RTX 4090 has a lot of problems with the power connector, 3070 and above have memory overheating.
Nothing is known about the RTX 4070 and 4080, perhaps these will not be the most successful video cards for mining.
If there is a new mining season, then I will turn on the mining farm with Rx 480 and Gtx 1070 Smiley

A colleague of mine has a few solar panels on his roof and was interested in investing in a cryptocurrency miner. Even if we suppose that he had the capability of being entirely self-sufficient with zero energy costs, the monthly earnings were still not enough to justify such an investment. I don't think it's currently worth putting money towards building a miner. Perhaps if you have zero or extremely low electricity costs and are willing to hold onto any earnings for the bull market, then you can possibly make a decent profit. Otherwise, it's not worth the trouble.

I'm certainly not the most qualified person to answer your question. I used to mine with a relatively low-powered PC with two GPUs in 2017-2018. A lot has changed since then.

Not going to lie to you, that is a pretty high cost for electricity to try and be competitive mining. You could still mine if you needed the heat, and I would probably recommend mining “Etchash” on nicehash in order to earn some Bitcoin with your GPUs.

Whattomine.com is a good site to give you an idea what to expect from your miners, but you’re probably better off purchasing crypto instead of mining unless you need the heat.

Selling the gpu is a bad idea because right now GPU price have decrease a lot, you will be selling for a loss, those who sold their graphic cards before the Ethereum merge took place are the luckiest one, I lost only 50$ off my GPus that I bought for 450$ each, now you just have to keep mining nonstop and wait for better green market a few years later.

if you can cover electricity bill for next bull run it ok to keep it but who know next bull run can make gpu price spike like 2017 and 2021-2022

i don't know what coin can perform like ETH for miner in good profit, less temp less power

maybe i'm wrong ETC can hit 500-1000usd or more

and yes sell gpu right now it not good price but you can sell to gamer who want to buy new card for new game coming in few month

Thats pretty bad choice i bought these GPUs at high price and right now its too cheap bought them since 2017 and also my GPUs is rusty not maintaining much because I stop mining.
I don't think someone will still buy this at fair price?

Why you're not try to mine ETH Classic, Flux or Mona coin? it's still quite profitable but for some people it doesn't worth to mine since the profit is really small. It depends on how many mining rigs you have, the electricity cost in your country and how you can take care of your mining rigs. As long as you're know what you're doing and become consistent, you wouldn't loss in the current situation except the bear market goes drop.
