I think now people hold more Bitcoin, because we can see on coinmarketcap.com BTC Dominance increases to 53.4%.
The fact that the bitcoin dominance has been going up it is a signal that people are dropping their alts at an alarming rate, they are doing this because they do not feel comfortable with the future of many alts and unfortunately the more they sell the more true their own prediction becomes, so it is possible that in the next year the amount of coins that will disappear will be very high.

thank you for asking our opinions. but answering it is a bit hard cause it mostly depends on the investor's choice and their prediction for the market. So it is can't be ensured.
Many lefft crypto for current situation but still many hopefully hold many coin and they hope that they will be benefitted later.

Since June 2018, in addition to Bitcoin I still hold, Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS and Monero. The reason, because the four coins I bought had clear prospects going forward.
You have lost a lot maybe you have sold it at that time, in my opinion that method is a very bad method. Supposedly, what you do's HODL at that time in a few months, maybe you will get more benefits after that.
Those who shout to buy more because they and myself are people who believe in the growth of crypto prices and I make a purchase but on the basis of my own initiative/not on the invitation of others.

Probably, most of the tokens are being held at this moment including bounty rewards despite of having low market value due to the continuous downtrend. Many people are now holding and are hoping for the comeback of the market. There's a probability that once recovery take place, profit will be earned . Patience is indeed needed at times like this. My portfolio is very simple, 100% is in bitcoin, why I choose my portfolio to be only in bitcoin? Because it is the only coin I am completely sure it is going to be here no matter what, when it comes to every other coin not named bitcoin I am not sure since even some of the most popular coins have glaring problems that I do not think will allow them to survive for long. Honestly speaking, this bearish market now is hard to bear for me. I also lost a lot like you and i am converting all my coins into ether. I am a fan of ether but the way ether is looking right now, not good. Still i am taking my with it and hopeful that it gonna surge this year end just like last year. Bitcoin is the market eader in this crypto world. So investor hold this coin. Bitcoin projects are also amazing as I know hardware wallet and the price updater is the most lucrative one. You can choose any one.
I am holding, symbol, stellar lumens, cardano, a little part of eths and btcs, enjin coin and vechain, I differentiated my portfolio quite a while prior and as yet holding and will hold them for a while(praying for bull to come)

I hold all the coins that showed good growth in December - January, as well as all the coins that I bought this year from the TOP 20 CoinMarketCap. I am sure that these coins are still rising, since they represent good reliable projects and behind them are real professionals.
I think most of the investors are holding their downward coin as well as upward. As a investor I am holding Bitcoin right now. So, whoever keeps which coin its totally depend on his choice.
I think ripple can be profitable in this year. It has attracted a huge amount of people. And many large financial institutions are using ripple. So it makes Ripple one of the most promising coins.
I guess by the weakening of the market and the declining prices of btc and the eth is sure a lot of people are now looking for and invest the btc and the eth than invest coins ico. all it proved to many that ico underfunded even jammed on their sales of ico.
I'm also a strong holder and I have lost more than 80% of my portfolio but still, I'm holding all and I'm buying more coins too, My favour coins are protocl and I invest at least minimum fund and hold it. I'm looking for next Ethereum hope I will find :-)
Though Ethereum is having a very bad time. The price is very low now. But i think it is the time for entering the market. And i have some hope for Ethereum. I think it will recover the loss it has faced.
Obviously bitcoin is most favorite coin to hodl for many people. Still there are some great altcoins and they have chance to be profitable. I thik Zcash, Dash, etc can be some good coins.

people will hold the coins they have, because the price of the coin is currently down. so all the coins they have will be held, for me I am holding ethereum and stellar.
