I still can't understand how some people see white/gold, there's no white at all. I'm watching straight to the pic like 3 days, it never changed, it always has been blue and black
I don't get this at all. I only see white and brown. The RGB colour numbers do not lie. R128 G110 B70 is obviously brown, not black. How can anyone see black and blue?

Im really not sure what the hell happened on the Social Media lately because on this dress but I see it Black and blue which is the right color .. so don't see how people see it gold and white to be honest .

To be honest the dress is neither blue and black nor white and gold, but the colours are much closer to being gold or brown than black, so there's no possible way one could see black here.
Oh, and I had a debate with my girlfriend and she said the "white blue" part is more blue, while I said it's more white then we compared it to a colour table in photoshop and it appeared to be more white than bluse, just like I said. And women claim to know colours better...

In case you couldn't tell guys, the reason it looks 'black and blue' is because of the lighting, the photo was clearly just randomly snapped and ended up looking like that, I can get the same affects just messing around with lighting on my Jewellery and stuff.

Could the lighting in the environment where the viewer is when she sees the image be affecting their perception?
Not really the case. Since I asked many people in my place to tell me what colors they are seeing. Results are different..

A large proportion of the population is color blind and that might be why people see it as having different colors.
