That's a nice question. I don't know it's probably excitement and hobby I think.
Of course there are some thoughts of "quick money", but not for the money itself or the rich part, I think it's more related with the excitement part of winning/losing something.

When I hear the word gambling I immediately think about playing poker and having fun. However I don't really think that you can go rich just by gambling. You would need to have a lot of luck to accomplish that.

That is very true. Why you get lose in your mind because so for what ever your see or read about gambling is only loser or bad stories about gamblers family that't that first thing you will get in your mind when you hear the word gambling means "loser". We also do not have a many winners in gambling ever one will try of winning but most of them will fail at the end in gambling.

Yes it can be a great fun if you gamble in limits, The only thing comes to my mind when I hear a word Gambling is to become richest person overnight, Honestly speaking that is just a dream and I know it's never gonna happen as it requires great level of courage if you want to make it big, and if you want to make it big you need to invest big too, and I don't have that courage as I cannot afford to loose my bitcoins.
