most of them only know about bitcoin through me but they don't have much interest to acquire it themselves. I think if I ever made a lot of money through bitcoin they would start to gain some interest but at the moment they are waiting to see some miracle results from me first. My Dad at the moment thinks it's too high risk as an investment due to it's volatility. My Son though admires what I do especially because I run my own altcoin but He is also waiting to see what comes out of it all. lol
some of my friends know and I tried to explain bitcoin to them, I gave up on it shortly after that because they did not seem to follow at all, I think people can't followup with bitcoin and find it difficult.
Yeah that is the major problem we are facing that people around us are not at all interested in bitcoins as they feel that its a waste of time and money and if they invest into it they would loose all money in long run.

In my case, nobody has idea actually of the existence of the bitcoin. I think it will be a long time so that we can see ads on tv talking about bitcoin or even people talking everywhere about it.
People around me thinks that i am inviting them in some ponzi type of scam i mean its hard for them to understand what bitcoin is.

Well, in my area they are not much familiar with it. Some of them have never heared, some of them think that is too risky and to dangerous, some of them that is conected only to criminal activites... Very few actually understand what is all about.
At least from people around you know what bitcoin is, Mostly in my area no one knows what bitcoin is generally, Probably would recognize it as being something digital but probably nothing more than that.
That's good enough I think.. In my place, they even think that I am stealing money in the internet, and that my ways are very weird to their eyes, as the latest that they only know about money is the ATM, but they never know about digital currency.,.
People at my university don't even know what bitcoin is, At least knowing something is better than not having any impression about it at all. I consider bitcoin the future of currency that could very well change how currency work but no one in my university knows what it is.

Well people dont believe that its real money but i say to them that in 10 years time you will use bitcoin.
People won't believe, the reason is it has not got a physical form. Its really difficult to make people understand the digital form of money.
but I think they would believe, if you can make a lot of money from bitcoin, and bitcoin is not about form.
Yeah, but the truth is that the bitcoin form is also a important factor. If you explain with the earnings got from bitcoin, they make fun you are working for some one and getting your pay.
But some people dont trust it and that is the problem. They must know that it is really safe to use and works easy.
Well the people around me do not know what bitcoin is, I know some of you might react for not all people in the world really know what is this. I just recently knew and introduced bitcoin to me by me relative that makes me so interested. I maybe lucky enough for others think I am just doing homework here..
I'm from canada, people here generally know and relatively like bitcoin although many of them aren't using it, They don't see a specific disadvantage for it but neither a big motivation, no legislation's against bitcoin too.
people here in India are slightly gaining interest in the bitcoins...so bitcoins are the future here....hoping to see it soon!!:D:D
Do you have Bitcoin ATM in India? I haven't heard of any Indian crypto exchange though but you surely must have one right? Such a big country with so many people in it
Some "just few" people around me think bitcoin is the best online payment method to which I agree completely. But some people don't know properly about it and when I talk to them and talk about BTC they do not even discuss rationally. Seriously people need to grow up.
Nobody knows what exactly is btc's.. But if they are not asking about it, it's fine.

No one I know understands it properly or actually use it decently, Some of my friends used to, but they no longer use it and generally consider it a criminals coin or something

during bitcoin still has a high value, so I think people do not think is very important form of bitcoin.
My parents have no idea about Bitcoin and don't think that I should have even invested. I am such a rebel for investing.
Mostly, they are not interested anymore about this, as they already learn and know how to live their life, but if you tell them and explain to them what you are doing, probably they will support you...

And that they must see that Bitcoin is very good to do and that it is also very safe to use it.
You even know people around you that are knowing the bitcoin, I do not even know people that know the bitcoin around me.
The I only know around 3 people that know the people and they all said they are thinking its bad because its get used by criminals a lot.
I think this is just not true, very currency is used by criminals but only the bitcoin is on the media with only bad things...
