Somehow I just noticed these posts--how the hell did I get my name involved with this?  Is this like a Russian April fool's day joke or something?  Jesus, if you're going to link two accounts by registration date, you ought to make sure they're not registered almost 2.5 years apart and at least a few other solid connections.

I guess I'm not getting the funny part of the joke here.  And yeah, people do get permabanned if their username is obviously an attempt to impersonate someone else's, especially if that someone else has a reputation on bitcointalk.  That's the reason for that big red warning you get when a newbie sends you a PM.  Some time ago there were people impersonating reputable members and trying to scam them that way--I forget the details, but scammers are everywhere here and look for anything they can take advantage of.

It's interesting to see how this forum responds and reacts in response to things, almost like the evolution of a turtle's shell.

I was surprised when I discovered how many accounts were registered on the forum to impersonate the administrator theymos. Though I'm not sure all of them have been banned.

I assume you're talking about the ban evasion rule (might be good to give a link to the rule you're referring to).  It's not clear what the timeline is here, whether OP did all of this while his ban was in effect or after it'd been lifted.  Either way, the newly-created username seems to me to be too close to Xal0lex to be anything other than an attempt to spite Xal0lex, especially when there are documented hard feelings between the two of them.

Hi people. WTF? I was banned for 2 weeks allegedly for trolling-on Xalolex's complaint.
Then I decided to start new life on forum, with net leaf, I decided to rectify that. So what?
My new account aka @6a6ywka Xalolexa was banned by Xal0lex on that day and all posts -removed. For no reason. I only made an innocent topic (no offtop\trolling)in the section "other" in the Russian locale, and also a bit to communicate in other sections-without violations. I think it happened because this nick looks a little like his nick.  This idiot starts twitching like an epileptic evil chihuahua when he notices something similar to his nickname in the comments or other nicknames.
