I view bitcoin as a currency instead of an investment so I usually buy something online with my bitcoins. It's just a matter of opinion, people view bitcoin as a currency, and other people view it as an investment or maybe even both.
What do i do with my bitcoin of course i always invest my bitcoin where i can grow my money and i also use it for trading where i can earn profit by trading my bitcoin into another coins (alt coins) sometimes we also do gambling where we can lose or win more bitcoins but since i always get lose my bitcoin i already stop playing this nonsense gambling . :3
Yes indeed very profitable trade. Although risky but if we learned it could be a good advantage. I also use my bitcoin some to trade. At first I lost my bitcoin in the trade but now I often get the advantage in trade.

I use BTC for investment in cloud mining and other investment sites
Better to keep your btc in a wallet where they will be safer then where you are planning to invest them, in cloud mining if the site does not turn scam still you will have to wait for years to start collecting pure profits because it takes a lot of time reaching ROI and other investments site can never be trusted.
Better to just accumulate and keep or just use them in altcoin trading like me.
I am not really against you on investing from them, but I am against the owners from getting so much profit from scamming people.
Exactly, owners are running away with the hard earned money of investors and that creates negative impact in the minds of new investors who wants to start their journey with bitcoins.
normally in invest my bitcoin in some alt cons, but after the previous downfall when the price of bitcoin fall down below 600$ now i am only holding my bitcoin for the price increase, because i am sure that the price of bitcoin will boost up very soon.
But maybe the bitcoin price will stable in some period in this rate, i think there is not harm for you to investing some of your amount in alt to grow your bitcoin because in this time the price of altcoins is very volatility and there are a good moment in this time.

Exactly investing in ponzi is also like gambling, either you win or you loose depending on your luck, most important thing in both the cases is to know what is the right time to withdraw the profits.

For me bitcoin is only for speculation. Spending is not really an option since not many place I buy stuff accept bitcoin.

Expect really a fees like that since bitcoin's price is volatile and merchants dealing with a fiat products most will really affected with the fluctuations. So to cover the risk, they will add fees for those transactions that will deal in bitcoin.

Most of the cloud mining sites have proved to be scam in long run and that is the reason people hesitate in investing in it as there is no guarantee that you will make profits from it.

Previously I invested almost all of my BTC in cloud mining, it turned out to be a scam and I lost it all. For now, I don't have much, but I think I'll keep em in my wallet, probably buy something online whenever the rate is up and I have enough.
Very sad to hear you got scammed with cloud mining (but why you deposit your money to cloud mining? )It's good to save your bitcoin in your wallet for better future price increase. But you can learning from the past , about choosing the right investment and collecting bitcoin method on the internet.
Pretty good strategy though to keep a good front while scheming something behind.
