I expect that the market will recover and will back to normal like before. Because of the dumps that we experienced this year, I am sure that I am not the one who expect that the bull run will occur.

We hit $2400 just a few days ago followed by a sharp rebound to $4000+. As you say 2019 will be an interesting year.I think we will see a high price sometime in the year, whether or not Ripple gets axed, as ultimately Ripple is not wholly, in and by itself Bitcoin, and does not necessarily reflect the future of Bitcoin (though such an event would likely have sharp short-term price implications on Bitcoin).
In the long run, Bitcoin is Bitcoin, no matter what Ripple does, so I think we will always see very strong buy pressure in the low price range. 2019 seems to be the year of 'high highs and low lows', so that's what I would expect to see, some of everything. Probably a trying time for the patience of investors!

As much as I don't really envisage a mad bull run, I sure don't want to see a further major dips in the cryptocurrency markets. A further dip in 2019 could put an irreparable damage on the morales of potential investors as well as previous Hodlers.
I hope 2019 will be the year of bitcoin however the price will leap to $ 2000 and the return will be surely around $ 10000 so let us hope positive unfortunately if this happen bitcoin from this point will have to think it's way to forward without having a look to back.
My wild guess, I believe Bitcoin will surely touch $1800 before its epic run towards $10,000.
if bitcoin touches the price of up to $ 1800 then the surge will not occur in the near future, because it takes a long process to regain investor confidence, 2019 is the hope of the beginning of a perfect recovery for bitcoin

Got to agree with the above, Although i think we will see some pumps going into the launching of some of these platforms. Ideally floating around $4 - $5k would be nice, slowly rising throughout the year.

I expect a stable crypto market with higher volume. I don't know what will happen and what is waiting for us! But this year destroy my big hopes about cryptocurrency. Still, I will be waiting to see bitcoin at 15K USD within the next 12 months! And if the bitcoin price grows that's mean the whole crypto market grows!

I bet everyone is holding to that speculation and as far as I can see it has a big chance of everyon gaining their profits in this upcoming year, and we should be all believe on that since this 2018 year is said to be a correction year and last year may not be the same and as fruitful as what this year but there still a common pattern being seen, and I hope this will do come true.

We are now going through a bloody phase, now the crypto price has started to increase and I think the increase is quite stable. I prefer stability because then the price of Bitcoin is not easily corrected. With a good level of stability, it will open opportunities in increasing prices slowly and continuously.
We already have 10-year birthday cake for bitcoin. Although the market goes into difficult conditions. and almost cows will not run during this anniversary. But I think that bitcoin and crypto will return soon in Q1 2019. I hope it will come in February as many experts have predicted. BTC may be at 6k-10k at Q1 2019.
In order to see positive movements in the market next year we desparatelly need some postive news, from SEC for example regarding futures, or something else, something big what can change trend long term and bring here some more serious investors.
It's very difficult to predict right now what may happen but many people are very nervous because of btc price drop and we will loose more investors ans price will drop even more without some big change next year.

I don't have any expectations at all.I just want bitcoin to survive an I want 90% of the altcoins to just fade away.I don't care about ripple at all.I think that having no expectations is better than having high hopes about the bitcoin price going to the moon.
I respect what you want but the reality is different here. Ripple is being popular among the haters, many good altcoins are doing well and some good ICO can't stop to come even in this bad condition of the crypto market! But still, without bitcoin, they all are nothing! That's why I want all of them to be stable at a high price.

My expectation is not very high in 2019. Maybe we'll see some price rises in 2019. However, these rises may not be as much as we expect. For more, we may have to wait for 2020.
I am expecting a lot also about the upcoming year but still luck will fi d a way to be with us if we will look also after it, I guess we should work also hile eaiting for the big rise of the Bitcoin, it's a strategy which we can say as a way for us to still be in a poductive phase even the current market price was not good as what we are finding for it to be, optimism will bring us determination to believe in Bitcoin.
I guess 2019 will be a great year for crypto lovers. Im thinking there will be another ATH ,fake projects and projects with no working product will be eliminated.
