Do you think the coins related to web3 and metaverse are bubbles?
-cut-
Your question layout is loaded. 99% or more of them are going to vanish so you can't really put them as a bubble or non-bubble categories. It's like asking are cryptos in a bubble when there are new 300 rug pulls per day. Yes, most of them are scams and it's quite impossible for someone uninitiated to tell them apart. So no i wouldn't buy anything just because it's "metaverse" or "NFT". Just like i wouldn't buy a cryptocurrency just because it's some random token.

There may indeed be potential, but none of whatever projects have shown said potential really, and most of what we have right now are just hyped a f projects that use tech-savvy terms to make their project look good or have proper road paths. I mean look at FB's "metaverse" project, it was basically a downgrade version of VR Chat with no whatsoever innovation in it, and it had big investors in place as well. There might be improvements later on, but as I said, as of now there isn't anything unique or different in its current state. The best presentation I had about metaverse probably was the AR integration, which was actually pretty amazing imo.
That's true and that's very sad. They don't really do anything but just promote themselves with those words. I have even seen people who build projects based on whatever was the latest hyped tech was, just to get money and that's the reason why crypto got such a high crash if you ask me.

Too much money went into the wrong hands, combine that with hacks and bankrupts and so forth, and you got yourself a bad period. We should be focusing a bit more towards something more decent, something older, like bitcoin and ethereum, where you could make some decent returns. I personally believe that it will take some time, but it will eventually happen for sure.
This happens on every single bull run and it does not seem there will be any improvement anytime soon, after all on each bull run we get many newbies which want nothing else but to make money as quickly as possible.

And instead of listening to our advice about why it is a bad idea for them to invest in new coins with questionable business models, developers and road maps, they keep doing it and they keep getting the same poor results as all the newbies before them also got.

Web3 is the new generation of web applications that are built on blockchain technology, enabling a more open and secure internet. Web3 technologies, such as smart contracts and decentralized applications, enable users to interact directly with each other without needing to go through a third-party intermediary. The Metaverse, which is a virtual world powered by blockchain technology, is set to be a major enabler for Web3 development. It provides users with an immersive environment to interact and transact with each other, as well as a platform to create and share content. Web3 and the Metaverse are both very promising technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the way we interact and transact with one another.

web3 and Metaverse have become more popular in the past two years. My friends who don't pay attention to encryption have heard this too. Although I think it is a bubble, no one can confirm this. People also said that Bitcoin is a bubble before. Everyone has everyone's understanding. With the right marketing, web3 and the metaverse wouldn't be a bubble. A lot of things are interactive.

I think web3 is the future. Most people believe that Web3 will reshape the boundaries of real and digital space economic and social activities, and promote the integration of physical and digital industries. I also support this view. For the Internet, various countries are vigorously developing. The decentralized internet is also gaining popularity.
No until you will be seeing web3 with your eyes lol. Web3 may able to be a game changer but it's not always like that. The fact that if most of projects claimed to be integrated with web3. I think that web3 and metaverse were pure hype. Metaverse is making more sense caused by you were building the virtual world while web3. i don't see any urgent reason to call this as future tech. web3 seems not to have bright future.

As Elon Musk said, web3 exists, but no one has seen it yet. Cheesy I think it's too early to say before we have a full-fledged launch of such serious things. We don't even have a more or less well-done metaverse yet. I'll just shut up about the decentralized internet. Web3 is probably an interesting topic, but so far it's futuristic.
I agree with let leave this discussion for the future since web3 is a relatively new development that requires a lot of work to get it to the mainstream, even information on this development is not readily available for studies and research so the whole topic look ambiguous for proper analyses right now.
- we may have to wait much longer before we see the practical manifestation of the impact of web3.
-the metaverse is still at its dream stage and members of the online communities will have to wait for developers to do their thing before launching some meaningful projects in that regard.

I wonder what makes you disagree with those who called web3 and metaverse as bubbles? Even crypto itself was bubble. So, what improvements? I meant projects these days are very nice for creating concepts but not for implementation. Remember a bunch of AI projects has become useless projects. The developers who created them have no clue about how to build proper ai like chatGPT i guess. What do you mean about something valuable? did you mean NFT? NFT was just trash, unlike coin/token which is liquid.
You shall at least stated about what improvements did you see that from web3 and metaverse. IMO what people called as metaverse was just the same like mainstream game that launched or released on steam.

Many projects use loud and technological names in the name of their projects or in their spelling, only they have a very mediocre relationship to these names. Around all these projects there is only a speculative component, and in addition, many investors come to these projects not to develop these technologies, but to make money on it. When we talk about the success of NFT, Metaverse, and Web3, this success is mainly based on price changes for the better.

Do you think the coins related to web3 and metaverse are bubbles?
I disagree with this opinion.
I think there's enough potential for improvement, what do you think?
I think it's very interesting to be able to store something valuable in a digital wallet, such as a meta mask, just like keeping items in my own inventory in a game or cartoon.
It is a part of the project development and they'll come to think that by doing this another version make them more popular and gain interest in the community. I don't say it won but people are also waiting for the results. It was the issue of trust and the potential of this metaverse project and might be possible that it was just a bubble, it pop after the hype and was then abandoned by the developers. It happens most of the time which makes people/investors to think about it before trusting them.

I think the one that you are talking about there is already a metaverse and not a web 3 anymore as web 3's definition is only about decentralized internet but if Bitcoin (decentralized crypto) is the future of currencies or payment methods then maybe you are right that web 3 (decentralized internet) is also the future of the internet but just like the Bitcoin who have a lot of haters, web 3 might also have it for the same reason that they can't control it and that is why many people will still stick with the old web 2 internet, the same with how they choose fiat currencies over Bitcoin as it is more legal and widely accepted by the governments.

There is, web3, metaverse or decentralized finance (DeFi) got the future, if you can see the improvement over these past few years, there are huge improvements, market cap or total value locked(TVL:) are the proof here.
As time goes by, governments are slowly being strict on cryptocurrency, these web3 projects will solve most of these centralized problems we have.

Web3.0 is an Internet ecosystem based on blockchain technology. As more and more people participate in the encrypted world, I believe that there will be more and more applications of Web3.0. If it is popularized, it also needs to be powerful. Network support, after all, the network is not very developed in many countries. Very few countries have achieved full 5G coverage.

Web3 is a great innovation for human. More freedom, more control on their coins and tokens and it can be applied more for decentralized exchanges and trading on such platforms.

However Metaverse is too broad and it has vague definition as well as unclear utility. It is abused by scammers and incapable teams to build their products using Web3 and Metaverse to easily attract investors, collect funds from them and at the end they either scam exit or fail with their products.

There are space and time for improvement but in the meantime, people should prepare themselves with knowledge and carefulness to avoid scams related to Web3 and Metaverse.

If they get scammed, it is not because Web3 and Metaverse are something bad, it is mainly because they are bad to protect themselves (unknowledgeable, very careless and extreme greedy).

Just like nowadays, people can be scammed on Internet and they can not say Internet is something bad.

You can be right that it has the potential to grow but not every project that calls itself a web3 or metaverse project that will develop and survive and contribute to the crypto world will be more of those who will fall and disappear than survive and we will experience a little it's difficult to be able to choose which one is good because most of them are only good in whitepapers but not in their implementation and development.

Like many previous concepts that I know, the opinion that OP mentioned is both right and wrong. I think new terms emerged and were developed by teams to represent the range of characteristics that these new sectors have, but as I observe people are just looking in the direction of fomo in terms of a short term trend view that Not the way the above fields deliver. But many trends have taken place, then only a few have maintained the ability to develop as well as they are really useful to the parties.

Unless we see a good and working metaverse then we will see what it can really bring to cryptosphere and other industries or sector. Meta has been developing one and spending billions already and yet there are still no progress and there are a lot of unknowns.

So for now we can say that it is hype, not yet a bubble though because we as I have said, there is no model yet. Or if there is one, I don't think it is big enough to be consider a full blown and working metaverse, in my humble opinion.

Metaverse and Web3 will offer a better technology, they are still new and not fully maximized so we can expect more updates from them and they have a good future as well. Though maybe its just part of the trend, and once they reached the peak another good technology will appear to replace it. For now, they should be able to survive on this bear market first and I think most of them can, the next target is to have a good projects.
