Well the pending transactions are a real challenge that the bitcoin is facing at the moment. If the bitcoin did not worked on it and failed to improve the transactions time the bitcoin may encounter some serious consequences of it. It is popularity is due to fast track transaction and low processing fee.

But as per latest discussions, miners are agreeing to implement segwit with 2 MB hard fork. Again it may take more time to be implemented. In this mean time, we may face same higher fee/long waiting for confirmation problems.

In many cases, when you transfer fiat, the fees grow only to a certain amount. After that it is essentially the same as with Bitcoin, though the maximum amount of fees paid will be higher than total of Bitcoin fees, of course (a couple of dollars). On the other hand, there are banks that allow free of charge money transfers or charge a small fee which doesn't depend on the amount transferred altogether

Unfortunately this will change soon if we do not resolve the scaling issues. Bitcoin's fees are rising, and new users coming into the bitcoin ecosystem will become to feel less comfortable while doing micro-transactions, something which bitcoin should do perfectly. The scaling issue really need to be solved because this is making bitcoin not working on many places because today when I tried to recharge my mobile phone then I noticed a higher amount of fees paid than my recharge from my wallet.

same i liked it because of it usage. Bitcoin price right now is getting more higher. Its not that hard to earn it. you just have to exert some effort and give time for it.
