you can be your own bank. this is one of the killer features of Bitcoin
Bitcoin is irreversible -- that's one thing I like. On the other hand, I also like how it can be accessible everywhere just using your smartphone. Although gaypal has the same option, bitcoin on the other hand has more value and as i said, irreversible. The technology behind bitcoin is also unique and good. Very secured too.
this feature of bitcoin is actually both a good and a bad thing. i love the fact that bitcoin transactions is not reversible and when you send bitcoin to someone there is nothing you can do about it anymore, this eliminates a lot of scamming which we can see happening with paypal.
but the bad part is that when you send bitcoin like for buying something you have to trust the receiver or else you have lost your bitcoin with no way to take it back.
they should ban cash too, because it can be used for drug, and their currency is not free from this, basically many other thing can be used for buying drug, they are using this excuse only to throw more fud at bitcoin , as usual
people are already using cash, so it doesn't matter , you don't need to convince people if fiat is good or bad. but it is different about bitcoin. when (if) media is advertising bitcoin as being associated with criminal activity like they do with some news, then new adopters might get scared and stay away.

i also like the irreversible thing, and it's the reaosn why many hate paypal, but it depend because many other prefer it for security when dealing with unknown online merchants
It's anonymous. But the problem is for example someone try to purchase drugs using bitcoin. This become a new era of transaction without being notice.
Why is buying drugs a problem? I think that's one of its benefits. If people want to buy drugs let them. The law should go after real criminals not criminals they themselves have created from their draconian policies.

I like bitcoin because of the technology, it's safe to move around and make transactions, it has improved from the traditional payment method because you don't have to physically go to a bank to deposit your coins, which makes it very fast and convenient to use. This is the main reason. And also I love bitcoin because there's so many ways we can earn our coins, just like dollars, I believe one day bitcoin or another cryptocurrency will take over dollars.
I would say that Bitcoin's instant transactions with limited fees are my most favorite thing about Bitcoin. This is one of the many things Bitcoin is very good at.

For me, it is about technology which I think is what makes bitcoin special. Who would have thought you could have a currency that is supported by the network maintained solely by the community. Nobody can shut it down, nobody can control it
well in theory miners can shut it down, in the remote case that it would not be profitable for them, and they are actually controlling bitcoin, the good thing is that they are not a single entity, like with fiat...

There is pro and contra about it, it is just the same as fiat, you can't make something in a prefect condition, there will be some who support you and some who dont so just let it flow
The best thing in bitcoin is, I can save it in my own bank, blockchain, and get full control of it. We don't need the teal banks anymore, and don't let them take our money.
The disadvantage IMO, what will happen if internet get shut by some accident or disaster... I think there's no way out to recover our bitcoin once that happen
Which disaster will cause that? Lets say if they got disaster they must have something to backup their internet and there is no way that they will shutdown the internet, because the new era which is going is online so everyone need online things, who didnt have any internet can't compete in outside

I'm really liking all this new start up's taking advantage of bitcoin and blockchain technology to offer new services and better versions of already centralized systems that give multi million dollar corporations a run for their money.

It is not inflationary - so wealth will not be worthless if held for a long time. Makes it (eventually) great to store wealth in.

Being anonymous (because I live in a well working country with high trust, but if I was in a less function country or if I was a criminal this might be an issue - the only reason left would be for taxation...which is a nice thing granted..).
High volatility. This creates as many good opportunities as challenges.

So if the internet get shut, the whole country will get many problems then. Not only affect us and our access to bitcoin, but also banks, the governments, online shop, public service, market, and many more.

1. Decentralization is great idea in theory the best feature bitcoin has - but bitcoin can't exist in its current state without satellite services so bitcoin is not completely decentralized.
2. Fast transactions are fast... but not fast enough - sometimes, when network is slowed down and you need to wait 15 minutes for confirmation.
