For me, the meaning of bitcoin is number 1 is, bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency, and bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency, bitcoin also safe to transfer, convenience, promising and many more. Bitcoin will still be number one crypto now.

Everything you've mentioned, bitcoin tops that all. If you are going to compare bitcoin on a currency or any other crypto coin, you would see why bitcoin is considered to be on the very top. Everyone has been so in on it lately and it has been making a name on the history while slowly entering the world market wherein rumors say that it will be the currency everyone will be using in the future.

You raise an interesting point about defining 'number one' and you're right that other cryptos will have other specific functions that they do better.

But I think being 'number 1' refers generally to how well accepted/ known/ traded a coin is- and that's Bitcoin without exception. It will be a long time until another crypto catches BTC in terms of awareness.
