Ripple is one of the top altcoin are good to invest for long term , it's a centralized. Ripple are support by banks and it's better not expect the huge profits in short term. It's up to you if you decided for long term investment, and if you want for short term there are many altcoin that you may put your investment.

In my opinion the ripple project has an interesting idea, where the developers want to create a new payment system that is able to work with all the world currencies although the ripple project is not decentralized and the operation they use is not 100% transparent but in my opinion investing in ripple is also something very good, because this project attracts the banking community by taking away some of the advantages of the classic crypto currency ...

i think we still need more time to see if Ripple can become the leader of the market in the future, rightnow Ripple is still suffering from the dump of BTC, its price is too much depends on the market price, i guess unless Ripple can get out the shadow of BTC, it will not easily become the best in the future, however it is still very worthy to invest for trading and long term profit because it has the huge investment from investors around the world.

I see many people who're into Ripple are also into other traditional stocks investments. So this maybe is the reason. Ripple is most likely to be similar to traditional stocks. Maybe ripple is really centralized.

I will suggest to invest in ripple if you are a real long term holder as decent profit from ripple can take time as it has huge supply and most supply is also controlled by the team itself so they can dump it if they need cash.
