I KNEW SUCH A SITE EXISTED! It's just that I was sure something like this was possible so. *cheers*
Now if I only had more than two dollars XD

$2 no longer gets you a meaningful amount of bitcoins.  I wish it was 2 years ago.  Smiley

Do you make enough in coins to only spend coins for what you need?

As opposed to what? Making enough to spend government currency for what I need?

I have moved on from government currency.

Edit: I see what you are asking. I do not get paid in bitcoins, I convert every paycheck.

Wow, that is very gutsy.  It gives me hope that there are enough ways to spend coins to live a reasonable life.  Are there are any groceries that take Bitcoins yet?

I am in Afghanistan so my food is provided, but Amazon has similar prices on their groceries as the store and they deliver for free. You can order anything on Amazon via bitspend.

Definitely planning on keeping hold of mine for a couple years. Who knows, might be worth something after uni, might not, but it's sure as hell more fun pondering that than the fluctuation on the world scale of the mere pennies in my wallet (thanks for ensuring I stay skint for several years, Teeside University!)  Roll Eyes

Also, finallly decided to stop being a lurker. woo

I also went to Boro uni, still live around those parts Smiley

Hope things go well for ya.

hanging on to them. Either they are gonna be worth a ton or nothing one day

Good idea, but, the value increases by the amount being used. If every one held on to their bitcoins they'd become worthless.

I've got a few bitcoins now but trading into currency is inconsistent due to the performance of the exchanges or some of them just disappearing.  So instead of selling them for currency, what do people spend them on?  Those of you who are also new to Bitcoins, what do you intend to do with them? I've traded a few for Amazon gift cards but that isn't the same as spending them for goods or services.

Thought I'd get the input of others here.

Thanks!
