Have never used one, but wouldn't if the fees are 20%. Kind of defeats the purpose of bitcoin being descentralized if you then have to rely on a centralized atm machine owner taking a massive cut. Good on them for spreading the technology though.

In my area there is no bitcoin ATM, so I'm sure I've never used it. I want to try ATM bitcoin, but the area providing ATM bitcoin is very far from my area.

It's allright, the best, except the fees are a little overdue... But it really doesn't matter when the price of bitcoin is increasing so much...

I support atms, shops, or gas stations that have BTC or even ETH on sale.

I'm from Russia and I can say that the RusBit cryptoms have been installed since January 2017 and officially work in such cities as Moscow, Perm, Volgograd, Yoshkar-Ola, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Sterlitamak, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Omsk - 20 cities- million of Russia. Interestingly, transactions are conducted within 5-15 minutes. Very comfortably.

That would be a great idea! Haven't seen one yet or have known any country or bank that has bitcoin ATMs. It would be of great to have them  on airports. Also on coffee or Internet cafes.

It would be a great initiative for spreading out more Bitcoin around the world. If Bitcoin would be available in the ATM system then It would have have been more popular in the world. If it happens then while traveling every Bitcoin holders will use for their necessary purpose.
Day by day the sceneries has been changed, people are becoming dependent on the digital currency so that Bitcoin ATM must be installed.

Beside people will be curious and interested as to what bitcoin is.  Having this scenario, they will start to invest and buy bitcoins.  This is a big help to the price of bitcoin because there would be more patronizong it.  Plus tourist will be the one who will talked abou this bitcoin.  As a legit way to earn bitcoin.

Have you ever used one? What were the fees and the experience like, and would you use one again? Is there one nearby where you live?

Fortunately, my bitcoin wallet provider has an option of cashing-out my bitcoins to fiat via an ATM to a specific bank. Personally, I find it very convenient since it gives me the option of having extra cash when traveling, or for emergency purposes. I mainly use my bitcoins for buying academic related things in my university, which greatly helps my parents into limiting their expenses. Having an international ATM that supports bitcoin-fiat transaction or conversion would be beneficial to all holders especially students like me who utilize this as extra-money.

I saw btc ATM , I thought it was a good invention. But I have never used it so I do not know how it works. On the other hand, the number of ATMs is so small. If possible I would like to have more ATMs so that users can trade more conveniently.

I think Bitcoin ATMs are still too expensive to use. One of the great barriers in crypto is making them accessible for the people, and I don't currently think that Bitcoin ATMs are a good approach for this problem due to the fees (hidden or not).

I don't think these bitcoin ATMs will last very long, but for now they are useful as a way to advertise bitcoin and as to get to know (the existence of) bitcoin.
But once bitcoin would get more widespread and know by the common people, I don't see the need for them any longer.
Though i haven't used some before and i doubt i will be using it anytime soon, cashing out your bitcoin will take a lot of time considering that the bitcoin you sent will have to be confirmed before you can actually get payment. I will rather cash my bitcoin out through exchanges and its faster because i will not want to be waiting at a particular spot for fifteen minutes to get my money.

I have not seen any neither have I used it, but from what the members here are saying, I don't think it's friendly with fees. I would rather like to use it as a crypto currency and sell it to convert to fiat, than going to its ATM.

I think it is not an automated teller machine per se but is similar to a vending machine. It is because you do not get money from it (from your own Bitcoins/Bitcoin wallet) but you are in fact buying Bitcoins. "Buying" here means you still do not own it. It is just like a physical store where you can buy Bitcoins should you desire to purchase one.
